About this property
Top-floor vintage downtown apartment
We have an attractive vintage 1950s top-floor apartment 2.5 km from Akropolis and 2 minutes walk from a metro station with trains that get you to the main square in Athens in 5 minutes. We fully renovated it in 2016 and it has a double bedroom and spacious lounge (with a comfortable single sofa bed). The apartment also comes with a big kitchen and bathroom, a dining room and a quiet balcony where you can enjoy breakfast in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evenings.
The flat is full of light, very comfortable and very spacious for a one bedroom. It is also furnished with antique and vintage pieces from our personal collection. We are passionate antique collectors and we'd be happy to give you some advice on where to find something special for you too.
The building is on an unusually quiet street for central Athens, yet it's only a few minutes away from a main avenue. There is a grocery store on the corner, where you can get fresh vegetables and supermarket products (open 7am - 11pm), as well as a cafe within 2 minutes walk, where you can grab a coffee as you start your day of sightseeing.
The apartment is located 2 minutes walk from the metro station Megaro Moussikis. The metro stop is on Kifisias avenue, where there are several transportation options (bus, trolley bus, taxi) to go downtown.
