Great apartment with everything you could want for a fantastic holiday.Very well equipped, lovely bathrooms & plenty of space . Large balcony for eating & relaxing with a first class view. Only negative was that the Wi fi was a bit intermittent.
Fabulous property overlooking the sea, 4th floor so you can see over the palm trees and look out. The balcony sofa was comfortable. There was even a power socket on the balcony to power my laptop! Inside the property was clean and well equipped, furnished to a nice standard. The complex is well protected with a full time gate person, and pedestrian access through smaller gates (road side and beach side). We had a great stay at Dover Beach and would definitely return.
The property was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The unit is perfect for a family or multiple couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and a beautiful outdoor balcony overlooking the pool and the beach. The unit is located close to multiple excellent restaurants and bars and felt very safe walking around even early morning and late evening. We would highly recommend this unit.
This was an exceptional vacation. We have been to Barbados many times and once again it did not disappoint. The condo was as displayed on the website. Amazing views and great location. The beach was spectacular, white soft sand, warm clear water with sea turtles in the bay. Proximity to the Gap was excellent. We would stay here again.
We had a bit of a shaky start with no communication about checking in but the owner, Robert, jumped in quickly to make it right. Realtor remained in contact throughout hurricane Beryl (which did not impact us much). Condo and balcony were great size for 4 adults and 2 children. So close to the beach and pools. Several restaurants within walking distance. Convenient store and coffee shop near by. Rental car across the street and plenty of taxis at the waiting. We would go back!

The unit had a beautiful view The rooms are large and spacious. Check in was a little confusing because we arrived late. Unfortunately there was a odor to the front bedroom and we found a water bug.
We loved everything about this condo. There were 3 couples traveling together. Only complaint was the size of the twin bedroom. It’s out of proportion with the others. That said the location is great. The pool and beach access fantastic. Walkable to lots of places.
We went as a family of 6, including our 19 yr old and her friend, 13 yr old and 11 yr old. We had everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay in the comforts of "home" away from home. There were always lounge chairs at the pool area although most of our days were spent on the beach enjoying crystal clear waters and walking the soft powdery soft sand beach - views from the spacious balcony (complete with lounge and dining area, were incredible. Rooms were large, plenty of closet space and two of the three bedrooms had their own ensuite bathroom. Walking distance (10 minutes) away from the Gap and all the restaurants/night life, Daddy's and Sand Dollar just next door and a mere 5 minute walk from My Friend's Place. We had a parking stall for our rental car but other than sight seeing and grocery trips, I would say a car isn't necessary. We always feel incredibly safe in Barbados but the peace of mind in the gated complex with locked car/man gates made us feel even safer when the kids wanted to stay in allowing us to enjoy some kid-free dining in the evenings. Bonus!!
We were so extremely happy with the property. The condo was exactly as the pictures shown. We felt very safe on property (and walking around the Gap). We had a parking spot for our rental in a gated parking lot and the property has a gated entrance from the beach into the swimming area. We spent every morning on the beautiful balcony watching the sea turtles swimming right off Dover beach and seeing wild ring neck parrots flying through the palm trees while enjoying our morning coffee. We were a family of four and we had plenty of room. My husband and I had our bathroom and each of our (adult) kids had their own bedroom, bathroom, and all had a walk-in closets. The dining table on the balcony was perfect for game night while hearing the waves rolling in on the shore. One huge plus was the tap water on Barbados is delicious and safe to drink. The condo was very clean.
Being so close to the beach was amazing. The surf is typically pretty calm and easy to swim in. Make sure to bring your snorkel gear (we did) and we were able to see fish and sea turtles swimming right off the shore. Being right in St. Lawerence Gap was so convenient and walking distance to so many great restaurants and stores.
We will definitely be back! It's not often that you head home and all family members have nothing but great things to say about the vacation. It will be next to impossible to find a more perfect location nor property as Sapphire Beach.

I can't rate this accommodation high enough, it was perfect, everything you needed was there and all of a high quality. The beds are very comfortable, all the bedding was high end, there was everything you needed in the kitchen, a very spacious apartment and everything was spotlessly clean, the communications and booking process was ideal. We will definitely stay there again without a doubt, if you do the same you will not be disappointed. Perfect location & Perfect hosts. We had a 'fabulous' holiday, this apartment is highly recommended in every sense. Thank you guys.
Great apartment excellent communication and location for anything you need within a short walk to bars and restaurants and dover market. Secure gated building and access direct to one of the best beaches on the south coast.
Second trip to this apartment and will surely book again if we return.
This property is all that is says it is. Clean, spacious and bright! We did have some issues that weren't resolved during our stay which has forced me not to give them 5-stars.
I expect that the owner Tony, along with the property managers (Greg and Orissa) will have it sorted out soon hopefully.
One of the guest bedroom showers did not have hot water during our stay (which could be a dealbreaker) and the washing machine was not working (an inconvenience).
All in all I would stay at unit 415 again.

Really comfortable boutique condo hotel property. Loved the pinkish white sand beach and clear Caribbean water! Generally very quiet so would recommend for either adults-only groups Or families.

Another happy holiday
Immaculate and very comfortable condo. Although only four adults there is plenty of room for 6. Situated right on an lovely beach, with bars serving food and drinks and a ten minute walk to some great bars and restaurants. Housekeeper visited three times over the two week period, which was just about right. We will definitely be back for a fourth visit!

Fantastic location, close to bars & restaurants, yet quiet and relaxing.
Made use of both pool & beach - which was literally on doorstep!

Sapphire Beach Condo #415
We recently returned from a 10 day stay in Barbados. The condo unit was fabulous and the location could not have been better. Did not need a car and could get everywhere on foot or by the bus, which was a lot of fun to take. The people of Barbados are wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The scenery and beaches can't be beat. I want to thank Rob and Katherine for all their help in making our stay so great. I would highly recommend staying here and am hoping to come back in the future. I am missing Barbados already as it is a wonderful island.

Excellent choice
We traveled to Barbados from Washington State to spend a week with my wife's sister and husband from Bordeaux. So glad we chose this condo. The facility is top notch and the location is superb. In fact the beach out front is one of the best we found. Other good beaches to check out include Crane beach and Bottom Bay on west and Paynes Bay up north. We did the Cool Runnings catamaran cruise and would recommend without reservations. The condo is spacious and the big deck is great. Awesome views from the 4th floor too. Another nice thing is being able to walk through the Gap to go to dinner. We liked Harlequin, Crave (live jazz and 2 for 1 cocktails until 8PM) and Sharkeys (good fish cakes). This is such a better choice and value than paying for two hotel rooms. In fact we walked through the Bougainviella resort (not too far away) where we considering staying and all agreed the Sapphire Beach condo is much nicer. Orissa, Greg and Lauren from the management company were all very helpful and friendly. Rob the owner was very helpful too, but it would be much easier for renters is they could accept credit cards or Paypal instead of wire transfer. Maybe this is how it's usually handled in the UK (?)
A couple final comments:
We rented a car, which is great for exploring the island, but take note: street signs are virtually non-existent on the island so you need either a GPS or a good map and route-finding skills.
The Oistins Friday fish party is quite a scene but it does cause quite a traffic jam and it felt a bit touristy.

Another Lovely Stay
We have recently returned from another great stay at this fabulous apartment on lovely Barbados!
The location is excellent with a nice beach immediately outside and some very good restaurants just a short stroll away in St Lawrence Gap.

Awesome property and location !
We (3 couples) just got back from 2 weeks in beautiful Barbados. What you see is what you get; the pictures in the listing look great, well you won't be disappointed ! The unit is in great shape and well appointed, the views and landscaping are truly spectacular ! Owners are great to deal with, everything went very smooth and as agreed.
The beach is beautiful as we expected, however the location is more prime than we had anticipated. Everything (restaurants, live entertainment, market, ATM etc) truly is within walking distance, local bus transport is just up the street (efficient and inexpensive) and taxis are usually available at property entrance.
This was our first time in Barbados and although we like to try new places (this is the sixth caribbean island that we visit) I expect we will be returning to this one, and when we do, this property will be our first choice. We highly recommend !
Thanks to Robert, Lauren and Orissa for taking good care of us, we had a wonderful vacation and look forward to an eventual return !
