About this property

Gummy Bear Lair - Cozy cabin nestled in the Smokys near Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge!

Escape to our charming 2-level cabin nestled on over 2 acres right in the Smoky Mountains for a lovely getaway! While you may feel like you are hidden away in the mountains, we are just 3.1 miles to Pigeon Forge and 4.7 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg, two of the best family destinations in the US! We are just 5 miles to Dollywood and minutes from all the fun in Pigeon Forge (we like to call it "Kid Vegas!") We are equally close to Gatlinburg and all the amazing activities you can enjoy there. While you can take advantage of exploring our 2 acres, we are also just 5.9 miles to the entrance of the Smoky Mountains where there are numerous curated and gorgeous trails to wander and see beautiful waterfalls and more.

This newly renovated 2-bedroom retreat features 1 queen bed and 2 queen bunk beds, so it sleeps 10 people, making it perfect for large families. With 3 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers, showers, and a bathtub, you'll have all the comforts of home. Plus, enjoy the additional Guitar Hero room with a sofa bed and private bathroom for extra relaxation. If that isn't enough relaxation, hop in the outdoor hot tub or roast marshmallows by the firepit and take in the mountain air!

Our rooms, living areas and outdoor areas are spacious and filled with fun activities to create memories after a long day touring the cities attractions...we have a 2-player Guitar Hero arcade, full size air hockey table, electronic multi-player dartboard, board games, 2 large Smart TVs with streaming capabilities, reliable wifi via STARLINK, foosball table, cornhole, we also have a half-sized pickleball court right next to the mountain if you'd like to get a little competitive game of pickleball going!

We also provide a Keurig coffee bar with a few samplings of coffee, tea and hot chocolate to make your stay even more cozy.

We provide bath towels, hot tub towels, linens and more and there is a washer/dryer on site if you wish to launder your clothes during your stay. We also provide a limited amount of necessities: toilet tissue, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner/body soap, dishwasher pods, and paper towels.

It is important to note that the Smoky Mountains are home to the great Black bear, there are about 2 black bears per square mile, and so our property is definitely an active bear area, so while we want you to enjoy our property to its fullest, please note that you should familiarize yourself with Black bear rules and guidelines in the Smoky Mountains and ensure that is something you are ok with adhering to! The Black bears are majestic to see...from a distance! Bear safety and awareness should be priority number one! Children shouldn't be left unattended outdoors at any time and doors and car doors should always be closed and locked for your safety and the security of yours (and our) property. For this reason, we do not allow pets, for their own safety. We have 3 exterior security cameras, 1 facing the front door and front drive, 1 facing the carport, and 1 facing the side drive. Backyard, hot tub, and behind the house are all completely private. There are motion-activated exterior lights to help you get around the property at night safely.

Our driveway has loose gravel, but it is definitely not as steep as most driveways in the area. A 4-wheel drive is recommended but not necessary for accessing our property. We have plenty of parking in our gravel driveway, in front of the cabin or in the carport. (Roughly 4-6 vehicles could easily park in front of the cabin)

Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at our Gummy Bear Lair cabin!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We had an incredible stay at the Gummy Bear cabin! The property was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Nestled in a peaceful location, it offered breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains, making it the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. The hot tub on the deck was a highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The location was also very convenient, just a short drive to downtown Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. We loved being close to hiking trails, Dollywood, and local dining spots, yet far enough away to enjoy some serenity.Communication with the host was seamless—they were responsive and accommodating, ensuring our stay was stress-free.I highly recommend this property for couples, families, or anyone looking for a memorable Smoky Mountain retreat. We can’t wait to return!

My husband and I love to travel! We especially prefer to stay in short term rentals because it's a much more authentic and comfortable experience and we strive to provide our guests with the same wonderful experience we would want to have!

Why they chose this property

We chose this area because it is so close to all the action, yet secluded and spacious

What makes this property unique

Our property is one of the only properties in the area offering sprawling acreage to be nestled in and there is quite a bit of bear activity which is truly majestic to see...just keep a safe distance and always be bear-aware!
