Eco friendly:
We strive to be as eco-friendly as possible, constantly growing and improving in harmony with our natural surroundings.
To protect our environment, we ask that no toilet paper is flushed, as the water flows into the septic tank for recycling and nourishes the trees in the yard.
We avoid using chemicals in the kitchen sink; instead, the water flows directly to the plants.
Bleach-based products are not allowed, and the water from the washing machine is used to irrigate the banana trees.
This property has no airconditioning.
While we don’t have air conditioning, we enjoy the refreshing breeze provided by ceiling fans.
We only use natural cleaning products to maintain a sustainable environment.
Rainwater is carefully collected and reused to hand-water the plants.
Looking ahead, we have exciting plans to implement composting, install solar panels, further improve water recycling, develop a deep well, and grow more vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
Currently, the garden boasts several fruit trees, including kenepa (Spanish lime), shimaruku (acerola cherry), medlar, and banana plants. Other trees still growing include avocado, mango, papaya, lemon, lime, soursop, starfruit, and dragon fruit. Aloe vera plants can also be found in the garden."
