We stayed after cycling 5 days and really enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful panoramic view. We didn't see any whales but the sound of the surf was enough.
Loved our stay at Seal Point for a long weekend with my husband. Pat was super responsive when I needed help with the dryer, and sent really thorough check in/out info. The location is unmatched - endless views of the ocean.
Like most homes on the coast, it’s in need of a little tlc, but if rustic is your vibe, this place is perfect!
Ideal getaway for a quiet stay. Plenty of room for 4 of us to enjoy the space together or separately. Would stay here again and take more advantage of the hot tub next time!
We stayed during an unusually hot couple of days but we really enjoyed the property! We saw some great sunsets and were able to stargaze right from the backyard (we could even see the Milky Way). It was very relaxing and the property was exactly as listed.
Amazing views from every room. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. I did wish it had more non stick pans, oh and a way to cleanv the windows on the outside so we had a clearer view from the kitchen. The beds were comfortable along with the couch. My kids loved the hot tub and the animals we saw. Communication was easy with property management. The only thing i wished was different was the shower heads. It was difficult to shower two little kids with the shower heads provided. And it was extremely slippery with the soft water.
Overall a great stay and I would recommend!
We celebrated our 30th anniversary at Seal Point. The location is stunning with incredible views from every room. We spent evenings watching the sunset from the perfectly positioned hot tub. We look forward to returning for another visit.
We rented the Seal Point property in October for our anniversary. The property was beautiful! Very clean and well managed outside vegetation with a couple of deer that also enjoyed the property. The property was centrally located to a lot of enjoyable scenery, activities and restaurants. The home sits on a cliff overlooking the magnificent Pacific Ocean. Inside the home was a large living room and dining room area with huge bay windows so you got almost a 180* view of the ocean. There were 2 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The beds were comfortable and extra blankets were provided if you needed them. Each bedroom also had its own heater if you needed it. There were very explicit instructions left on the counter for the TV, fireplace, hot tub and various other things in the house that you may need during your stay, which we found extremely helpful. There were plenty of cooking/eating utensils, bowls, coffee mugs and drinking glasses. The owners obviously put a lot of preparation into providing a vacation home that lacked nothing! The comfortable home and the beautiful views made our weekend simply perfect! We would definitely recommend staying at Seal Point!
This is a house on the bluffs directly above the Pacific Ocean. The views are stunning from every room. Very accommodating- had everything we needed. We plan to return.
This property has everything I want when visiting the ocean. Extraordinary views from every window; ability to sleep hearing the ocean waves; and a private bathroom in both bedrooms. This is a lovely Oceanside home with good kitchen and glass sheltered hot tub. We loved our stay.
This was a family get together to enjoy the beach and do some wine tasting in the Anderson valley. This house was the perfect location close to the valley, convenient for a visit to Mendocino and perfect to enjoy the ocean. We watched whale spouting while making dinner, enjoyed the sounds of the surf while luxuriating in the hot tub and enjoyed sunset while pelicans and osprey flew by. An amazing location.
The property has unbelievable views. The interior is a little dated but fully functional. We had a couple of issues that were promptly resolved by the property manager. We would recommend this property.
It is prettier than the pictures. After unloading the car. My wife and I suited up and soaked in the gorgeous ocean views from the hot tub on the back deck. We then plopped down in our camping chairs on the backyard lawn and waited for our friends to arrive, scanning the vast ocean for migrating whales. We couldn't wait to share this experience with them. Upon their arrival, we were all hugs and high fives! This place is absolutely gorgeous! Two of the evenings were fog free and the sunsets were spectacular! We were very fortunate to spot whales on the second night, steaming north on their journey. We watched an osprey plunge itself into the ocean below and it flew right over us, showing off its catch of the day! To say that we're giving this property five stars is an understatement. The house itself is as advertised. The experience of staying in such a gorgeous location is priceless. We will be coming back!
Pictures - and the pictures are amazing- don’t do it justice.
Spectacular views in an inviting and comfortable abode.
Perfect location allowed us to explore California!
We had a lovely time. The house is basic and older and appliances/electronics are somewhat outdated but that wasn't a surprise based on other reviews, and we had everything we needed. The location is gorgeous and the hot tub was hot. Once when we couldn't figure out how to work the fireplace, we texted the landlord and he called us within and few minutes to help us. Overall good experience!
We had a wonderful and relaxing couple of days in this amazing setting. Panoramic views of the ocean. Don’t even need to leave the house for whale watching. Great communication with property company. Thank you. Would highly recommend.
