Before you settle in, I would like to make you familiar with the house rules and procedures at our vacation rental. These are in place to ensure that your stay with us will be fun, comfortable and safe. We want to be good neighbors. Lastly, we believe in respecting people’s property and we expect others to respect our property as well. This ensures that the next guest will get to enjoy it too.
Please take a minute to read each of the rules carefully to avoid possible injury or deductions from your security deposit.

House Rules And Procedures
• Florida weather can be unpredictable so if it’s raining, please use the shoe rack by the front door to leave your shoes so you can enjoy keeping the floors clean throughout the house.
• The closet in the hallway is locked. Please do not attempt to open it.
• In the garage, you will find the electric panel. Please do not open it unless in the unlikely event of a power outage.
• We have a Level 1 EV Charger under the electrical panel. If you would like to use it, please select this option from your Boarding Pass.
• There is a trash can provided in the bathrooms and kitchen where you can dispose of any garbage.
• Garbage collection schedule is as follows: Please refer to your Boarding Pass.
• We understand that accidents do happen and kindly request that you report any accidental breakages or damages to us before checking out so that we can have the items fixed or replaced as quickly as possible.
• In the event that damage to the property or its contents is not covered by our insurance or it exceeds the security deposit, the cost to repair or replace will be billed to the guests.
• The majority of our neighbors live here full time. Please minimize noise between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. to ensure our neighbors can enjoy a night of undisturbed sleep.
• While our neighbor’s dog is friendly, please don’t pet or feed him.
• If you encounter any issues with our neighbors, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible.
• The home has a noise monitor device in the kitchen which actively records noise decibel levels. It does not record audio or video.
• If any neighbors report excessive noise, your vacation rental agreement could be terminated and you’ll be asked to leave our property. Should this happen, it will result in a loss of the rental amount.
• The maximum total number of people during the day – 8 AM to 10 PM - is not to exceed 12.
• Maximum occupancy is 10 people. Yes, children are people too. Under no circumstance are you to exceed maximum occupancy. Exceeding maximum occupancy will result in your vacation rental agreement being terminated. Any extra overnight visitors must be approved in advance and will have to pay an extra fee as set out in our rates.
• It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that any visitor also complies with our House Rules.
• No parties or events are allowed.
• Any small gathering is restricted to twelve people in total and must comply with the rules regarding noise. Please park your vehicle in the designated space. Please do not block the sidewalk as you may be issued a citation by Delray Beach police department who actively patrols the neighborhood.
• In the event that you need to park on-street, please keep our neighbors into consideration and ensure that you don’t block access to their properties or park on the swale as this may damage lawn or sprinklers.
• Our garage is off-limits for any vehicles.
• Children should be supervised at all times by adults while you are at our property.
• Guests are responsible for the safety of their children at all times.
• In case you misplace a personal belonging, please contact us so that we keep an eye open when we prepare the property for the next guests.
• In the event of rain, please remember to close the patio umbrella on the deck. In the event of a major storm, please store it securely.
• Please do not use the BBQ stored in the garage.
• Please use only plastic cups when dining outside. We have provided plastic wine glasses for you. For your safety, and the safety of other guests please do not use glass containers in the pool deck. Serve your guest and yourself in the kitchen.
• Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the property.
• If you want to smoke, you may only smoke outside in the designated area. Please bring the ashtray that is stored in the garage and use it in the patio during your stay.
• Please dispose of your cigarette butts in the ashtray provided in the designated area.
• No pets allowed.
• Please double-check that you have switched off all the lights or other electrical devices (including the air conditioning) before you go out.
• You’re welcome to use the dishwasher, but please just make sure that you don’t overload it.
• The optimum temperature for the thermostat is 72 degrees.
• Please close the patio doors to maintain the temperature in the house and avoid extra humidity.
• We’ve provided a dehumidifier. When the light is red, please empty it by disposing of the water collected in the kitchen sink so that it continues to draw moisture from air for your comfort.
• We ask that our guests be so kind as to dispose of food in the available garbage bins.
• Any cardboard boxes or paper containers should be placed in the yellow recycling bin.
• Please do not try to flush any sanitary products or baby wipes down the toilet. We have provided white trash cans for this in both bathrooms. We’ve also provide a diaper pale.
