Scott and I met twelve years ago, working together for a prominent logistics company; I was a dispatcher, and he was a truck driver. We decided to buy a house and spent weekends transforming it into a beautiful, cozy, and functional home. With the arrival of grandkids, we put in a pool with a circular deck, creating a perfect space for entertaining and relaxation—our little paradise. Two years ago, we felt it was time for a change. Life became stagnant, and we both were looking for something different. We left our jobs and purchased a camper to explore the country. We have had the opportunity to travel as far west as Yellowstone and as far south as Savanah, GA. Being gone so often, we thought with our home's fantastic location, and close proximity to downtown Grand Rapids, we decided to list our home on Vrbo, Airbnb, and other rental platforms. The home was built over a hundred years ago on the west side of Grand Rapids. We know our home is older but it's the old-style windows and crown molding (the popcorn is bad and due to be removed one day). We also have updated the home with the conveniences that provide comfort and ease, such as air conditioners and a dishwasher. We have hosted birthday parties, bridal showers, wedding rehearsal dinners, as well as bachelorette parties. The privacy fence, large yard, heated saltwater pool, and easy-to-use propane firepit have provided us with countless fun nights in the backyard, enjoying the outdoors. With so much to do in Grand Rapids, we wanted to share our home so others can enjoy all there is to do in and around Grand Rapids while staying in a place that feels like home. .
