About this property
Bring your peace or your party - more seclusion with less intrusion - adults 21+
Adults only. A natural hideaway for You and Your's. No curfews or quiet hours.. Check in at noon. Extended check out, automatically granted until 4:00pm, so relax and enjoy.
"Camping Craters" (coming scheduled for Summer 2025) and "Nature, done Naturally" and the "Deadwood Dome", (book now), both offer camping experiences that are unique and outside the status quo.
"Nature done Naturally", allows campers freedom of choice. Within a 10 acre range of sloping hillside, majestic rock formations and lush exotic landscape, you can find your own ideal camp spot or choose one of our leveled spots, already cleared of dry brush and ready for above ground standard tent camping. Dogs allowed, but please keep on leash at all times and be familiar with the Southern California indigenous wildlife proper protocol if you and your dog encounter certain creatures.
The camping area resides on the North side of the Via Cordoniz access road, starting at Deadwood Dome site and the Secluded Acres sign staircase, ranging North West 3/4 of the mountain up, and 10 acres left. Please be mindful of the property markers, and respect our neighboring property lines. You are responsible for your own fitness in hiking the inclining trails and staircases. Hiking or walking sticks are highly recommended.
A shared cooking area, has been cleared, providing use of the propane gas grill (campers must supply own 1 lb green canister), standard size cooler, small fire extinguisher, and carved or cut seating. Nearby, a shared pit toilet with a small 5 gallon black solar shower bag, shower toga, toilet paper, glass wash basin and pouring bottle-for minor freshening, vanity mirror and 5 gallon water jug, refilled daily- or more frequently, if needed, all located in a pallet wood stall. A narrow privacy tent- for a changing room (complimentary) and two additional 3 persons sleeping tents are both folded and stored at the cooking area, for guest use. Please leave an additional $5 per night, per sleeping tent used and fold back neatly, before check out.
Dignity and respect for the experience of every Being, is of paramount importance.
A welcome fruit tray of chirimoyas or similar fruits, grown on property, is available, upon request, for special occasions. Please notify us in your reservation, in advance.
×There are four, pick your own plot, tent sites bookable online, for ten persons occupancy (10). Deadwood Dome is double occupancy (2 adults), maximum. Guests must be at least 21 years of age.
You can hire campground assistance in carrying your camping gear up to your picked plot, for $25 on arrival and $25 on departure (up to four treks each way). Please message us in advance to schedule.
Bookings staying two or more nights, can book a complimentary Tarot reading (no fees apply, gratuities appreciated). Please message your preferred time and allow an hour and a half, per guest, if interested in this value ad.
For group booking larger than 10 people on 4 bookings (40 people), please contact us by email to discuss options available to accommodate your party.

About the host
Hosted by Allison Berry

Southern California native, atypical "Valley Girl" during my early years. Am now pursuing my dream of building a fully off-grid, eco-friendly, sustainable, earthen/up cycled material made homestead and apiary. The campsite revenue will be positively invested toward the launch of an onsite apiary and chirimoya orchard/farm.
Why they chose this property
De Luz, is a very special rural gem, located in Fallbrook, San Diego County, in Southern California. People can enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and even prospecting for gold, known to be found in secret spots at the base of the mountain's Santa Margarita River. Fallbrook (8 mins away) offers a quaint array of antique shops and thrift stores, as well as Temecula (14 mins away), where you can find hot air balloon rides, horseback riding, wine tasting, winery tours, nightlife, bars, dancing, shopping, and farmers markets. Of course the Pacific Ocean beaches (30 mins away) are all popular for surfing, fishing, boat rides, water sports, scuba, snorkeling, beach activities and the Oceanside Pier.
What makes this property unique
We have the most interesting landscape to explore and we allow the freedom for our adult guests to enjoy their time on their schedule, no quiet hours, lots of space and super late 4 pm checkout - automatically.
