Being an urban neighborhood, it has a mix of old and new, from beautiful architecture to lively street life.

Safety Considerations: Like many urban areas, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings, especially at night. The neighborhood is undergoing changes, but it’s still advisable to practice general safety measures, such as locking doors and avoiding walking alone late at night. Using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft is a great way to navigate the city safely when returning from late-night events or outings.
Avoid leaving belongings inside the car and make sure your car is locked. This is an urban city and unfortunately New Orleans has high car break ins and car thefts.
Local Community: The 7th Ward offers an authentic New Orleans experience with a community-oriented vibe. You’ll often find neighbors sitting on porches, friendly greetings, and impromptu music performances. For those who enjoy the energy and character of a true city neighborhood, it’s a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture.

Accessibility to Attractions: The home is close to major attractions like the French Quarter, Treme, and the Marigny, making it a convenient spot for guests eager to explore the city’s music, food, and culture. Popular tourist spots like Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street are just minutes away by car or a short walk.

Staying at this property offers an opportunity to experience New Orleans like a local, embracing the lively and unique atmosphere of the city. Guests who are familiar with urban settings will feel right at home. To ensure a smooth and secure stay, all guests are required to sign a rental agreement before check-in. Additionally, a government-issued ID must be uploaded for each guest staying at the property.

Failure to complete these requirements may result in cancellation of the booking. Please ensure this is completed before your arrival to avoid any delays in accessing the property.

Very nice property

The house was very nice. There were 4 people in our party. Plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed. Plenty of towels and wash rags. The beds were a little firm but not uncomfortable. The location is a little suspect but we felt safe. A little noisy at night. Very close to center city.

Why they chose this property

We chose the 7th Ward because it represents the heart and soul of New Orleans—rich in history, culture, and local traditions. This neighborhood is a blend of old and new, where you’ll find historic architecture, vibrant street life, and some of the best local food spots in the city.

One of the things we love most is its proximity to everything—just a 5-minute drive to the French Quarter and the Superdome, with easy access to streetcars, bike rentals, and rideshare options. It’s also along major Second Line parade routes, giving you a front-row seat to one of New Orleans’ most authentic traditions.

The energy here is unbeatable—whether it's live music from a nearby club, locals gathering for a crawfish boil, or a spontaneous parade passing by. It’s an urban, lively area that’s perfect for guests who want to experience the real New Orleans beyond the tourist spots. We love being part of this neighborhood and are excited to share it with you!
