We stayed in Kalispell as our gateway to glacier and flathead lake. It is 40 minutes to the entrance at glacier and then there is the whole park ahead-so days in the park were very long. Nights were hot in August but the portable fans helped. There is a great packet of local information that was helpful. Kitchen was dissapointing w Crumbs in the cabinets and drawers, dried food on dishes and lacking backing/cooking Pans. Home uses a standard key under the mat which didn't feel secure but we didn't have any trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor table and seating. Was tranquil and short walk over neighbor's yard we could see pond and wildlife. Bird feeders attracted lovely birds.
We really enjoyed our stay at Vivienne's Villa! It was located in a beautiful area. It felt like home while we were there. The fresh raspberries were delicious! We will stay there again while in the area.
Cute place to stay in Kalispel. Close to the airport. About 30 minutes from the entrance to West Glacier.
Enjoyed our stay. Was great for my daughter and her family to visit us there.
We loved Viviennes home, it was comfortable, kid friendly and offered so many amenities. We have two young children and its often hard to find a place that is kid friendly but that was not the case with this stay. There were so many things to keep our kids occupied and the house was stocked with all the essentials.

Peaceful Getaway Near Glacier
Vivienne’s Vacation Villa was absolutely lovely! The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the four of us. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials, including a coffee pot and easy to use stove, and was large and open with a big island in the middle that provided enough counter space for us all to pack our lunches in the mornings. The beautiful English garden in the backyard included raspberry bushes that we were welcome to pick! We especially enjoyed using the gas grill and relaxing by the fire pit after a long day of hiking in Glacier. Amenities included plenty of games, magazines, and puzzles as well as Netflix, WiFi, and a washer/dryer. Vivienne’s daughter owns an adorable little café (Knead Café) within walking distance of the house—in downtown Kalispell—and is definitely worth checking out! We highly recommend Vivienne’s Vacation Villa!

Great stay in Kalispell
Vivienne was a wonderful hostess and has a lovely house. It is well equipped, plenty of space, and great kitchen for cooking. It served us well as a jumping off point for our Glacier adventures. Downtown Kalispell is a close walk as well. We highly recommend Vivienne's.

Beautiful and Comfortable Home
This was a lovely home to spend a few days away in. So comfy and cozy to sit and watch the fireplace and see the snow falling outside but I cant wait to come back in nice weather when we can enjoy the outdoor areas. Great location in Kalispell also, so close to everything but still seems out of the way.

Wonderful experience!
Thank you for a great vacation experience. When you book online you are always a little worried about what you will find when you arrive, but we had a dream vacation in your house. The personal furnishings using antiques and quilts were charming. The beautiful trees that surrounded the yard gave the feeling of being out in the country, but grocery stores and restaurants are just a few minutes away. Your garden was so pretty that I spent hours outside reading and relaxing. One afternoon we were in the living room and saw a deer right outside the fence looking over into the backyard. I also enjoyed watching the birds in the backyard as I had my morning coffee. We chose Kalispell because of its proximity to Glacier, so we visited Glacier during the day and arrived back "home" in time to sleep in comfortable beds without having to pack and unpack each time. Air conditioning would have been good during the record heat wave, but after it passed it was perfect with the windows open and the fans. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
About the host
Hosted by Vivienne
I was born in the U.K. and came to the U.S. with my husband and two daughters in 1965. I have lived in N.J. South Carolina, and moved to beautiful Montana in 1988. My family and I built this house in 2001.
Why they chose this property
Kalispell in the Flathead Valley is the most beautiful place I have lived, with plenty of summer and winter activities, good restaurants, hiking and biking trails, first class golf courses and lots of theatre both open air and indoors.
What makes this property unique
When I was looking for a site to build my house this property called out to me. It is close to town, (without hearing traffic noise,) surrounded by tall pine trees, and a short walk through the back yard to take my grandchildren to a fishing pond.
