Steps away from main clubhouse and pool area! Come stay in our beautiful home away from home at the foot of the McDowell mountains at The Edge in Scottsdale, located in Grayhawk; one of the most desirable communities in the northern Scottsdale region.
Whether you are retired, or just looking to escape the cold winter months you will find everything your heart desires in this luxurious gated resort. It has all the amenities of a high end resort hotel but with condominium convenience.
Picture yourself having your free morning coffee or tea while reading the free daily newspaper or one of the numerous magazines in the clubhouse (known as the Great Room), which is practically steps away from the unit. The helpful Concierge Team are on-site 7 days a week and in addition to the free coffee bar & chilled ice teas, the Great Room comprises of a pool table, free popcorn machine, movie theatre, flat screen TVs, and a resident chef (for meals and wine tasting). BBQ are also located throughout the outdoor area for your use. You have full access to all these amenities while you stay ! And there is more.....Bicycles plus Zumba, Spin and Yoga classes are free at the sister resort, the Venu, and also spa treatments are available at very competitive prices. One of the Concierge Team can help you with all the details.

The condo is a second floor unit with a balcony and has been very tastefully decorated to make your stay as stress-free and comfortable as possible.

A new luxury rigid vinyl flooring has been fitted throughout.

The spacious living area has a brand new comfy contemporary design, full leather zero gravity recliner sectional sofa. Its a dream…
A 55” flat screen TV with cable.
The dining area is separate with a gorgeous wooden round table with seating for 4. After dinner why not relax with after-dinner drinks on the balcony overlooking the clubhouse. Relax in the large master bedroom, fitted with a king-size bed with the top of the line Stearn & Foster pillow top mattress, and watch your favorite shows on the 32' flat screen TV.

Two black oak twin beds are fitted in the private loft area above for your teenagers and/or overnight guests. This area has been fitted with a beautiful white three door wardrobe with built in mirror.

The keep-fit lover is also covered here with a state-of-the-art fitness center open 7 days a week !
Famous golf courses (the TPC is 10 mins away) and beautiful hiking trails are also close by for the outdoor enthusiasts.

The Edge offers two resort style pools and spas.
The main pool is situated at the clubhouse and is truly beautifully decorated with comfortable loungers with pillows and outside four poster beds should you wish to rest or read poolside. Or why not bring your laptop and enjoy the free WiFi. The other pool is quiet and is approx a 2 min walk from the condo. You will also have access to the pools and spas at The Venue.

The condo location is right beside the Clubhouse and main gate making it walking distance to the nearby plaza (9 mins - we timed it !) boasting all the shopping you would need for your stay: Frys grocery store, Starbucks, Subway, Nails Salon, Hairdressers plus some really delicious fine dining at Local Bistro (our favorite) Pure Sushi Bar, Jaspers Peak Bistro Bar and Grille, The Good Egg (breakfast joint), Juan Jaimes (Mexican) and more. A short drive opens up an abundance of restaurants and nightlife to chose from !

Truely Comphy Condo!!!
Our 3 month stay in this Greyhawk condo was everything we expected. It was close to where our son lives and every amenity was also close by, including grocery shopping, hair salon, dog groomer, pool and work-out facility. The hosts were sweet and very accommodating and made our stay a smooth one. We would definitely return to Scottsdale and stay here again. HOME away from HOME*****

Wonderful place to stay
We stayed almost 21/2M in this lovely location! The condo is very tastefully furnished and the kitchen and bathroom have everything you need! We enjoyed drinks on the cosy balcony whenever the weather permitted. Cathy and JF were very helpful and easy to work with, great hosts! Great VRBO Vacation
This was our first time vacationing using VRBO and so happy to report that we are so lucky to have chosen JF and Cathy's condo to stay at. The condo was everything we could have asked for. The kitchen was fully equipped. It is in a great location, the Edge accommodations were perfect and the communication with JF and Cathy was everything we needed to feel comfortable with our choice. We will be visiting the area again and hopefully the property will be available at that time. We hated to leave!

ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE!
I would like to thank JF and Cathy for opening up their home for a SECOND time to my Mother and I. The property still has everything you would need for a week long vacation. Great location, easy access and furnished perfectly. We rented back in 2013 and had an excellent 2 months. The additions to the "book" were perfect. Great holiday
We vacationed at this wonderful condo for six weeks including half of February and all of March 2015. What a great location to enjoy all that Scottsdale has to offer. We have been holidaying in Scottsdale area for the last seven winters and feel we have truly found a gem of a property. The condo was more than we expected. Beautifully furnished, so comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen was a dream to work in, even had a salad spinner! Nothing you could possibly need that wasn't there. The location of the condo to the clubhouse was wonderful. Could get fresh coffee each morning at the clubhouse and enjoy it on the lovely balcony at the condo. What a treat! Didn't have to make one cup of coffee during our whole stay. We enjoyed several dinners at the clubhouse cooked by the resident chef Mike. The food was so delicious and we never left feeling hungry. Would highly recommend at least one dinner at the clubhouse. The owners JF & Cathy were so great to work with. They made everything seem so effortless and were most accommodating. The bottle of wine they left was so thoughtful and certainly gets your holiday off to a great start. Thanks, JF & Cathy for that thoughtful gesture. We found everyone we met so friendly and made our holiday so enjoyable. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a stress free and wonderful holiday in sunny Scottsdale. We have already booked for a longer stay here next year, we truly have found our home away from home.

Fantastic place
My husband and I went on Christmas 2014 ... it was wonderful ! The place is all new and very well decorated. All that you need and more was there (fully kitchen equipment, washer-dryer, towels, a book with so helpful information etc...). The complex and the club house is very quiet and so beautiful and just a few step from the condo. We feel like home and wish never come back, as the owners work very hard to provide nice and fun details to their place. Everything is near, good restaurants, shopping, grocery, highway to travel. We did not have time to visit everything we want to see (too many beautiful places and activities !!), but for sure we will return soon to this FANTASTIC condo. Lovely, lovely, lovely, sunny, sunny Scottsdale, we already miss you !

Wonderful place
We planned our Scottsdale vacation at kind of the last minute. I wasn't sure what kind of place we'd be able to find, but was completely THRILLED when I found this one. The owners were very easy to work with, and the condo was beautiful. The info book they have is very clear and thorough. The property is close to shopping and dining. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we could cook if we wanted to.

A new found haven
This was our second time staying at this condo and it certainly did not disappoint. The condo is spotless and the owners have an “eye for detail”. It is very well equipped with an abundance of high end kitchen utensils & crockery as well as additional bed linen and pool towels. The piece de resistance is the Bed. Only for the beaconing of the blue sunny Scottsdale skies I would have had difficulty leaving it. The condo has 2 large flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom as well as cable and internet access and the choice of DVDs is great. The cooker and fridge freezer have been updated from last year. In addition we suggested that the owners provide a blender and sure enough one was available this year. Needless to say we enjoyed many a cocktail on the balcony. Again the balcony area has been tastefully updated to include a pretty rug and pillows all adding to the comfort and ambience of the place. The welcome pack was also greatly appreciated. This condo is literally located 100 steps from the Clubhouse. The Edge complex is exceptional and very high end. The staff at the clubhouse are friendly and extremely helpful and the facilities pool, spa, BBQ, the great room, gym are outstanding. The complex is located in a fantastic part of Scottsdale and is a short stroll away from a nearby shopping plaza. A few miles away you will find an abundance of restaurants, shops, spa and entertainment. We loved it so much we are returning for the third time in October and are already counting the days.

All the comforts of home and then some!
Our stay in this unit was extremely comfortable. It's newly renovated and all the amenties are functional and clean. The owners go out of their way to ensure their guests are well take care off by providing a helpful information booklet personalized for the unit itself. A lot of thought has gone into the furnishing of this apartment to ensure guests feel at home. The linen, the beds, the towels are all nice quality, clean and smell good. The property is comprised of 2 complexes (Edge and Venu), both of which a guest has access to. This unit is part of the Edge and it's location is very convenient, lending itself to quick access to the pool, club house, parking, access to road to get to the small shopping mall(10 minute walk away). I recommend you go to the Venu and borrow the bicycles they rent out. You have plenty of trails in the desert as you leave the property. I also recommend you try a least one meal cooked right on the premisis by the resident chef. The flavours just blew us away. The location of Grayhawk is close to highways (20 minutes from Phoenix airport), 2 hours from Sedona, 4 hours from Vegas, 20 minutes from Anthem Shopping Outlets and finally 30 minutes from Spur Cross Hiking trails. What ever you decide to do outdoors...don't forget the water. I highly recommend this location and this property. Thanks Cathy and JF for sharing your home away from home with us.

Excellent Condo with full amenities and great location
We stayed at this condo at The Edge for one week in January and had a great time. It definitely felt like a home away from home, with all the amenities so nearby. Starting with the Clubhouse and pool across the street, the bike trails nearby, the shopping and restaurants within walking distance to the great hiking trails and daytrips, we definitely made the most of our week in Scottsdale. Would definitely recommend it and will certainly consider returning. Cathy & JF were very helpful, efficient and accommodating - thank you for the bottle of wine on our arrival!

Scottsdale is one of our favorite destinations, and your condo was the best we ever stayed in. It had everything we wanted: a nice living room with a comfy couch and a big TV, a kitchen with everything you need and a master bedroom with a little terrace, a great location with a huge supermarkt and several restaurants only minutes away, two pools, a great club house. The community is far enough from the hustle bustle and close enough to restaurants, bars and shops. I was working in the morning (finishing a novel) and found it quiet enough to work efficiently with enough time in the afternoon to enjoy the pool. If you ever come to scottsdale, this is the place!

Great stay in Grayhawk!
Condo was perfect for us. Superb amenities! Clubhouse, pool and exercise room were the best we have experienced yet! Sidewalk to parks, groceries store, restaurants and shops are very convenient! Loved the location. Very nice area and always felt safe! Easy access to freeway but just far enough away from the hussle and bussel of the big city. Delightful Stay in Scottsdale
We recently spent a wonderful week in Grayhawk! The condo was exactly as described and had everything we could have needed and more - the amenities provided by our hosts were thoughtful and much appreciated and the unit was spotless. Although the weather was a bit chilly for February, we still went to the fabulous pool every afternoon located right across the street from the unit to soak up the sun. The Edge at Grayhawk condos are conveniently located near shopping, restaurants and great hiking. We were sorry to leave after our week! Throughout the rental process our hosts were professional and pleasant to work with. We'll be back!

My wife and I stayed at The Edge. Unfortunately, we arrived just as North Scottsdale received over 3 and half inches in of rain in 3 days! The weather did clear and we had a nice time in the valley. The condo was clean, nicely appointed and in close proximity to restaurants, grocery shopping and many very impressive golf courses. The complex had a very nice pool area with complementary beach towels. I would recommend this property and stay here again if we vacationed in Scottsdale. The owners were great to work with.

We were very pleased with this rental. The unit is beautifully furnished and decorated, and includes all the amenities. The kitchen is very well stocked with quality items, and even has a complete spice rack. Everything is new and clean! They even provided a handy notebook of condo, and resort information, as well as suggestions of things to do in the area. The Edge resort is fantastic and has more amenities than we could use. The gym is nice and clean, the pool is perfect, and clubhouse is awesome and offers lots of activities. It was very easy to meet people. We loved the location because it was very close to excellent restaurants, shopping and hiking. We had fabulous weather everyday in November. We will definitely come back.

Why they chose this property

My husband first discovered Scottsdale on a business trip back in 2010. We had been looking around the Florida regions at that time for a vacation/retirement home but couldn't quite commit to the unstable weather and the drives to the beach ! Our first family vacation to Scottsdale was in March 2012 and we fell in love instantly with the dry beautiful weather and the gorgeous luxurious surroundings of North Scottsdale and all it had to offer.

What makes this property unique

The best thing for us about Scottsdale is the average 314 days of sunshine a year.....and very little humidity ! This combined with the pure high end amenities of The Edge Condominium Resort with the North Scottsdale lifestyle cannot be beaten in our book. Come see for yourself and you be the judge !
