Built in the 1920s, the house has high ceilings, beautiful oregon pine floors, a built in fire place (for those venturing to Cape Town in winter) and is carefully decorated to ensure that guests will have a comfortable stay. The spacious lounge and dining room are open plan with a stackable door leading out to a sheltered leafy courtyard and garden. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room and is fully equipped. There is a study just off from the lounge which can be completely closed off. There are two bedrooms located opposite/next to the one full bathroom. Should there be five guests, a bed will be put into the study which will become a third bedroom.

The number of guests staying in the house will determine the number of rooms that the guests have access to. The guests won't have access to the garage, carport, laundry room, guest toilet or the garden shed.

There is parking available behind a secure gate.
Should you be staying for longer than 7 nights an additional linen and cleaning fee will be payable for every additional week (or part thereof) that you stay.

No smoking is permitted in the house.
No events/parties are permitted.
No addition people/guests/visitors may attend at the property or stay in the house without our prior permission.

Located in a friendly quiet neighbourhood, you can be sure that you will be able to rest plenty, indulge in uninterrupted downtime, relax or enjoy walks/bike rides in the neighborhood, hikes in the Newlands forest (which is a 5 minute drive away), while at the same time having easy access to Cape Town's busy city center (20 minutes drive), the Constantia/Stellenbosch Winelands, as well as shopping malls. For those sport enthusiasts, you'll be happy to know that you can walk to the Newlands' Cricket Stadium, which is only 500m away, or the Newlands' Rugby stadium, which is only a 10 minutes walk away. If you enjoy the outdoors, you should visit one of our magical Blue Flag beaches which are a scenic 20 minute drive in either direction. Don't forget about the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens or Table Mountain, which are both accessible on foot, or just a ten minute drive.
