Quintessentially French!
Absolutely lived the French dream by staying at Susan and Andy’s property. It really was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully included everything in the kitchen we needed to function well. We felt very much at home and our hosts were on hand to help with the logistics of getting around Bourgogne with some handy tips about restaurant bookings & wineries when we needed it. Thank you, Susan, Andy & Freya, We will be back!

Beautiful accommodation in a charming village
The owners Susan and Andy were there to welcome us and settle us into the property. They were helpful and generous with their time. The property has been renovated to a high standard. Located on the edge of the delightful village of Meursault which has restaurants, basic shopping and wine tasting. It is one of the most delightful holidays that we’ve had in France

Meursault gem
This was our second stay at this lovely house that is in the vineyards but only a block and a half from the town square and the fantastic bakery, butcher, and other shops. The property is perfection with all details brimming with quality and thoughtfulness. The refrigerator even has a bottle of sparkling burgundy wine to welcome visitors. Just a block away from the bike trail through the vineyards, and delivery of rental bikes is easily arranged. The decor is beautiful with exposed stone walls, first-rate kitchen, and gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms. On top of all this, the owners are super friendly and helpful.

Just the best!
You know a property is amazing when you first walk in you start thinking about planning your return trip. This was the case when I walked into Les Vignes. The location is just perfect. You are surrounded by vineyards but only a five minute walk away is the town center. The amenities are on par with a five star hotel. If all this was not enough, Andy and Susan are just delightful hosts and full of recommendations. If you are thinking of going to Burgundy, this is just the perfect property,

Another amazing stay in this fantastic house
This was the fourth time we have stayed at Les Vignes and it was perfect again. Everything about the house is as advertised and Susie and Andy go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of their guests (including driving a guest to the doctor and waiting for her for an hour). It is a marvelous experience to stay in comfort, close to the village with amazing views of the vines.

Beautiful home in Meursault in the middle of the vineyard
We stayed 4 days at Susan’s house. Great communication, very fast, willing to guide you to nice places. Perfect house: bedrooms, bathrooms, livingroom, kitchen: the house was very well equipped and high standard regarding cleaning. Everything was there: from dishwashersoap, showersoap, bathrobes etc. I’ll highly recommend this house.

Wonderful time in beautiful village in France
We spent 3 days in Meursault with my elderly parents on a Burgundy trip. We loved the house and grounds, though my husband said Jaccuzi could have been warmer for him (I actually like it slightly cooler better). The kitchen was well equipped and it was fun cooking breakfasts. Great location with quick walking access to grocery shopping and fresh bread in a charming little town. Great hiking opportunity too, straight out of the house. If we ever come back to the area, we would stop by again.

Perfection
The property is beautiful, has a five star hotel feel to it coupled with a homely atmosphere. We loved all the little extra touches such as towels to the hot tub to milk in the fridge as well as an extensive guide to the area. We felt totally relaxed and was the perfect end to an amazing trip exploring Burgundy. The house is so well located that it is just a hop and skip away from quintessential French village life. Eveything we could have hoped for! Thank you Susan

Perfection in Meursault
From the moment Susan and Andy welcomed us to the house upon check-in, our experience was absolutely delightful. The house is beautiful, clean, airy and very comfortable for our family of 4. Touches like robes, hot tub towels, grilling tools, fans for the bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen all make the stay effortless. The town of Meursault is well situated to explore so many parts of Burgundy. The village itself also has everything you need: patisseries/boulangeries, restaurants, a small grocery store within walking distance. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Perfect Stay! - Even Better than the Listing
Our recent stay at this charming rental in the idyllic town of Meursault was nothing short of perfection. It far exceeded our expectations in every way, delivering a harmonious blend of traditional French charm and modern comfort that's quite difficult to find these days. From sunrise to sunset, the panoramas of grapevines painted an unforgettable backdrop to our daily routine, providing a stunning setting for our morning coffee and evening wine sipping. With easy access by foot to the town center, a bakery, butcher, small grocery, quaint cafes/restaurants, and wine tasting are all just a leisurely stroll away. As for the house itself, the beds were plush and provided a perfect night's sleep. The well-stocked kitchen was another highlight. With a variety of high-quality cookware, appliances, and utensils, it had everything we needed to prepare our meals, making us feel as though we were cooking in our own home. It was a delightful surprise for us, as foodies, to find such an accommodating culinary setup in a rental home. (Visit the Farmer’s Market in Chablis or Beaune). But the real cherry on top was the exceptional communication provided by the hosts. We wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone seeking an authentic and luxurious stay in the heart of Burgundy. We can't wait to return!

Amazing dog friendly 2 bedroom cottage overlooking vineyards. Beautifully refurbished with high quality fixtures and fittings. 2 minutes walk from centre of Meursault, there was nothing we didn’t like about it. Susan & Andy are lovely people and it was a pleasure to meet them. The place is fantastic and they have thought about every detail and more! We thoroughly enjoy our week there. A great location in Meursault with terrific hosts
The center of Meursault is a short, easy walk up the hill on which Meursault sits. You have the beauty and convenience of being close to a bakery, wine merchants, restaurants and a grocery, but the rental property sits immediately above several acres of vines. The result is you feel like you’re bordering on the countryside. The outside areas are attractive and comfortable. A nice bonus: more figs (in season) than one could eat on two trees, and apples on another. The inside of the house was nice also: upstairs two bedrooms, each with a beautiful view and its own bath, and downstairs a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room. Our only regret: we missed the wine harvest by two weeks, and that would have been fun to watch.

Return Visit
This was our third time in Meursault since 2013 and our second at Les Vignes, which is most definitely our favourite location. Susan and Andy are on site and it was wonderful to meet them in person . They are the most generous hosts and have worked extremely hard to ensure that the property is perfect for visitors. We love everything about it. Beautiful , tasteful decor, showcasing the local stone , comfortable beds, light and airy, and the opportunity to sit out every day and enjoy the vineyards, birdsong and church bells. A quick walk in to Meursault and you have everything you need; boulangerie, epicerie, boucherie, deli, cafe/bars, restaurants and of course many places to taste the wine this region is so famous for. We will keep coming back as long as we are able to travel!

100% winning property and host
My wife and I want to return here as soon as possible. This is a magnificent location right on a vineyard, with views that entrance your eyes. Perfectly outfitted inside and outside with a gorgeous garden, outdoor seating and tables, and a hot tub. Inside, an upgraded property with large bedrooms and baths that was professionally architected from an old vigneron barn, with huge beautiful beams inside and yet modernized in every possible way. Host Susie revels in her role and provides everything you might want. One hundred yards walk to the amazing village of Meursault, which is like walking into a French village dream. We two couples enjoyed this property and our host who created memories to last a lifetime. Don't hesitate to book this property - RUSH to do so!

Following years of studying, working and traveling in France, we are complete Francophiles hoping to retire to Burgundy in the future. Our daughters both love France too, and although still at school and university, spend as much time as possible working with us to ensure that the rentals at Rue Montmeix are everything you could want. Sometimes we will be there to welcome guests, but on the occasions we are not, we have a wonderful local manager to look after you. The most enjoyable thing is sharing recommendations of wine and food between our guests and recommending local attractions.

Why they chose this property

After years of wanting to buy a second home in France, we had decided on the wine villages of Burgundy as our favorite location. We wanted to be in one of the prime villages of the area, with easy access to beautiful Beaune. Unable to find property to rent of the quality we required over the years, we were thrilled to find the house through a local firm of property designers and builders - although needing total renovation we fell in love with the charm and peace of numéro 6 immediately, totally won over by the stone, woodwork and fabulously peaceful views.

What makes this property unique

Rue Montmeix is truly our piece of paradise, which we love sharing! Uniquely positioned only 150 metres from the village square and all its amenities (Baker, great butcher, small supermarket, deli, florist, Tabac, 9 restaurants and 50+ vignerons!), the two houses that we rent out have been newly renovated from the beautiful stone winemaker's barn that our house is part of. The houses are calm and quiet, light and cool in summer, and warm and cosy in the winter, with some amazing stone walls and a beautiful oak frame, all carefully renovated by local master craftsmen. They face south, with a small vineyard in front, a recently reclaimed one planted to the right, and views up to the vine-covered hills.

The outside space is huge, especially for a wine village - each house has its own parking space, lots of privacy and its own outside bbq and eating area. In addition, the two rentals share a luxurious decked area and top of the range hot tub.
