Intimate Getaway!

Great communication, wonderfully clean and well equipped! Suzanne is so helpful! We enjoyed sea lions just off the patio both days of our stay. We loved the efficient use of space and the large shower! We'll be back!

A beautiful relaxing retreat!

We enjoyed our stay and only wish we could stay a few more days! Very comfortable and cozy. The water and scenery is so breathtaking and we even got to see the seals hanging out on the pier! We plan on coming back in February 2018. Thank you Suzanne!

Very clean & modern. Very nice owners.

This space is very small, although the layout is efficient. However, when the Murphy bed is up, the available seating is uncomfortable. It's not a big enough space for two people to relax and read. The owners are exceptionally nice & the view is lovely.

Perfect Solitude

I just wanted to take my husband away to celebrate his Leap year birthday and his new job. This little space is modern, clean and literally on the water. The first evening the sun was out and warm so we sat on the good sized patio, wrapped up in the cozy blankets provided and visited until the sun went down. Very romantic. We opened the small windows and we could smell the sea air and hear the birds in the morning. We learned/relearned cribbage, enjoyed pizza from next door, and sat by the wood burning stove at the grocery store and visited with folks. What a wonderful experience. It was a perfect little get away not too far from home. I highly recommend this spot. There is a larger space available on the 2nd floor. I cant wait to try it out next time. We will be back. Thank you!

Amazing Time!

I was looking for a place where I could stay to enjoy peace and quiet for a few days and had stumbled upon this jewel. The condo is a small studio, but it has everything that you need. It is very well furnished and decorated to a "t". The kitchen is stocked with all the equipment you need. The dish set is very modern and elegant, and I really enjoyed that. The bathroom is fully stocked with extra towels if needed, and the shower is very spacious. The bed is a Sleep Number bed, even the bedding, and pillows are from Sleep Number as well. All very high quality. There is plenty of closet space and storage. Also discovered board games and maps for various hikes. The patio is huge and has a great amount of sun exposure, has a patio dining area as well. I was surrounded by water, listened to waves crashing and birds chirping. I was far away from the everyday busyness and enjoyed every moment of it. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to Suzanne, for creating such a serene and peaceful atmosphere, in and out of the studio. Thank you for going above and beyond for making the stay to be an unforgettable experience. I will definitely come back again!

Quick 3 day weekend

We have stayed in the 2 bedroom upstairs before, and wanted to try the studio below this trip. It is beautifully remodeled and except for a cloudy weekend it was a pleasure to stay in the unit and see Suzanne again.

We love staying at Water’s Edge!

Staying in the Studio is like staying in the cutest tiny house right on the water. We loved the Murphy bed and its built-in closets and drawers that provided plenty of space to stow our bags and clothes. The compact kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and we could buy groceries at the General Store next door. The bathroom was beautiful! The washer and dryer was very welcome after a long drive. The deck overlooking the water was our favorite place to eat and just relax. We have stayed in the Studio twice and we look forward to coming back soon!

Most peaceful, stress- relieving week on lovely water’s edge

The Water’s Edge is truly a most relaxing, peaceful studio. It was very clean and updated with everything you might need. The bed was so comfortable!! We enjoyed watching and hearing the Martins everyday- and even saw an eagle! Short drive to nearby towns with great restaurants and some shopping. And, easily took ferry to Seattle one day to see the famous sights there. Even cooked for ourselves twice and enjoyed sitting on patio, looking at the great view and listening to the waves coming in from small boats. Truly a most peaceful, lovely setting. AND, Suzanne was wonderful- very helpful and had fresh baked goods for us upon our arrival. Really wonderful week!!

WOW! Rented BOTH ...

We rented upstairs (2 bd) and downstairs (studio) for my daughter's wedding at Emel House, Scenic Beach State Park. The accommodations and the host were wonderful. The owner's attention to details and nice things showed. The beds first class; SUPER important when traveling. The views outstanding, Bald Eagels and Harbor Seals. We plan on staying again ...

It is a lovely, quiet place.

I really enjoy coming here. This was my third visit. It is clean, with lovely furnishings and very comfortable. A perfect place for a quick get away by the water. My favorite part is sitting on the covered porch, wrapped in a quilt, listening to the tides roll in and watching the sun go down. Truly a refreshing and peaceful place.

Great studio unit

My wife and I rented this unit for the month of July. The locals put on a great firework display for the fourth of July. The unit has a very large patio mostly covered which is great for rainy weather or for the bright sunny days. The view is great and the unit is small but has all one needs to cook. The shower is huge. There is plenty of room to store bikes and other things on the patio. Each day our mornings started with coffee, watching eagles on the mud flats and seals on the logs close to the marina. Just down the road a couple of miles we counted 11 eagle on the mud flats right by the road. Next door is a general store, a coffee shop, and a pizza place with great local ice cream. A few miles away there is a larger town Silverdale, that has all the big stores for anything else you may need. We watched a seal mother give birth during our stay. Almost everyday there were 8 to 14 seals in the area. We found some great trails in the area to hike. The best group of trails we found were in the Newberry Hill Heritage Park. We found it was easier to park on Seabec Hy NW at the south end of the park. There are no trails that you can really walk to near the unit. It is a short drive to Bremerton to catch a ferry over to downtown Seattle. There are quite a few neat towns in the area to explore. If we are in the area ,we would definitely rent this unit again. The host was great and everything was as advertised. ed napier

amazing peaceful stay!!

We just loved our weekend retreat here in Seabeck. Suzanne's hospitality was just out of this world. Her place is perfect for a weekend getaway. We spent the entire weekend outside on the water (you really can't beat the view!). We will surely be back again and I think we're going to make this a staple mini-vacation spot in the future.

About the host

Host profile image
After living in this area for over 30 years we wanted to share the beauty with friends and vacationers from all over the world. Welcome to Seabeck. We hope you enjoy your stay, and experience the relaxing atmosphere while you discover the secrets we have to offer in this beautiful part of the world.

Why they chose this property

Once we discovered Seabeck, we wanted to be actively involved in the community. We purchased one of the only properties on the water and 'in town' and proceeded with remodeling the building bringing vacation rentals right on the water (Seabeck Bay) and retail stores owned by small businesses. The community and visitors alike enjoy what these businesses offer. We look forward to meeting you and enjoy sharing this lovely area in Seabeck!

What makes this property unique

Seabeck has been known for its General Store, Turie's coffee and Seabeck Pizza. We have increased the shopping experience for travelers to Seabeck by adding two businesses. Hood Canal Vintage, a gift boutique featuring a variety of gifts, two mother/daughter businesses that provide jewelry and some gifts and a flower/bakery style store. In addition to the businesses, we offer one rental for vacationers located on the water side of the building. It is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives, and offers great views all year long. Ask about our Holiday Offers!
