Modern apartment in stunning location, riverfront, overlooking Ponte Vecchio

The apartment lies in one of the neatest areas of Florence downtown, called Oltrarno, in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants, arts and crafts shops and walking distance to all the major monuments and churches.
What makes it unique and stunning is the specific location, waterfront, along the Arno river and with an incredible view of the Ponte Vecchio, just a few meters away. All the living areas, including the dining room face the river and the "Ponte Vecchio" while the bedrooms are on the other side of the apartment.
There are 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom, each with its own bathroom, all with shower. There is air conditioning in the living room and 2 bedrooms. There is a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.
All utilities are included in the rental fee, the only extra fee to pay at check-in in cash is the tourist tax which is 5,50 euro per person per night up to 7 days.
At check-in I will also need to collect/photograph all guests passports.

Authentic Firenze Stay

Can’t rate the location and apartment highly enough. It had everything we needed and Filippo was a great host - thank you for all your help and organising our trip. We had a great time in Florence and will definitely be back!

Great place to enjoy Florence

The owner was waiting and explained everything - the apartment is in a excellent position and great views of the river and bridge. Great sitting at night hearing people sing and you are close to restaurants and fellow attractions - highly recommend very clean home

Great location

Massimo was very kind and quick to reply. Check in was easy and the location is amazing. The place is a little dated but considering the cost it makes sense. If you come when you don’t need AC constantly running, it’s probably a very great stay. For us, we had some AC issues and the one in the main bedroom was really harsh and had a smell that was tough. I bought an air freshener and dryer sheets to help. Once we opened the door and had a fan blowing into the living room it was a bit better. Other than that, there was a bit of a smell from the shower in the main bedrooms connecting bathroom and the wifi doesn’t work in the bedrooms and you can’t get regular service well. Again, these aren’t deal breakers and if it’s not very hot, you probably won’t have to many issues. The view is amazing so give it a look.

Perfect location and a beautiful view. The price is excellent for the location and the 3 bedrooms and baths. The only small complaint is the place could use a little facelift but the price is more than fair.

Wonderful location

It was a perfect location overlooking the river. Nice accommodations and host was helpful in showing us each room. Two things to be aware of…We thought someone would be waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived, as mentioned in our instructions, but instead we had to call and then wait for them to come. Also, the music and voices coming from Ponte Vecchio were wonderful in the evenings but the bedrooms face a noisy street. Consider bringing a white noise machine!

Fantastic location!!

The property was nice and clean, great layout for friends sharing a house or a family with kiddos. Amazing location with great views, it took a matter of minutes to walk anywhere in the city we wanted. It had all the kitchen essentials, even sharp knife’s! Washer and dryer (yes, home does have a dryer) worked great and the host supplied laundry soap for our use. No bathroom shampoo or shower soaps were included, we brought our own but our friends did not. The only downfall of this property was the noise coming from the restaurant close. Loud late night yelling and singing and cars racing by. I think our stay fell on an extended weekend so this may not be the normal but ear plugs were a blessing. The location made up for noise, would bring ear plugs and a sound machine but would stay here again.

Wonderful view

This apartment is older but well maintained. I stayed for 35 days, going out to dinner, cooking at “home” and enjoying the view in the living and dining area. There is music from the bridge and some noise from the street, but well worth it for that view. The location is walkable for almost everything. For the experience of living in Italy for a month, this apartment was perfecto.

Magical Apartment and Location

Massimo and his team kept in constant contact with us prior to our visit and made for a smooth arrival. The apartment could have been more charming and each day I had to pinch myself be sure I wasn't just dreaming of staying within yards of the Ponte Vecchio and even with the close proximity we weren't bothered by the noise and crowds. You will not believe your view!

This apartment in Florence is right on the water and the picture of the property in the property description is your view of the Ponte Vecchio bridge from the living and dining rooms. It even has small balconies where you can open the glass doors and stand over the water. It could not be in a better location for seeing all the sights in Florence. The apartment was beautiful, very clean, and definitely large enough for our family of 5 adults. The host was also helpful in answering my pre-trip questions. If you are going to be staying in Florence, I highly recommend you rent this apartment. You will not regret it.

Love Florence

We booked this property based upon the views from the living room. What we forgot to consider is that Borgo Jacopo is a busy and noisy street 24 hours a day. Limited accessories including only one hair dryer. Also only one set of of towels per bathroom. When touring all day you end up reusing a damp towel. Apartment could use a good deep cleaning including several bug nests in the corners of the ceiling.

On The Arno

Our stay in Massimo’s VRBO on the Arno was wonderful. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms made our stay very comfortable. The live music performances on the Ponte Vecchio each night were just great! The apartment has a contemporary vibe but still easy going. Massimo secured a superb private day tour of Tuscany for us which was wonderful. Unfortunately, due to the Florence Marathon, Massimo was unable to secure a taxi for us to the train station on our departure day. That meant we had to walk toting all our luggage. If we were thirty- something, it would have been no big deal. And, as it was, we saw not even one runner. This is likely a taxi issue but did certainly complicate our departure. Massimo was responsive to all our questions in a very timely manner. He allowed us to drop luggage early which was a huge help. Daily supplies were available and the apartment was clean. You won’t regret using this apartment. Great location and lovely interior. Susan

VRBO for Florence Italy

We were not happy that all 3 bedrooms did not have AC. One did not. very uncomfortable for the adult staying in that room. the main room AC was problematic during your stay. The location for the property was awesome. Not very happy with a lot of these VRBO propertyies. asking the renter to buy their own cleaning supplies, plastic bags, put out the trash etc. isn't that the reason for these overpriced cleaning fees?

You will forget about needing a car and you can enjoy walking around Florence with literally everything in just 20 minutes walk, all monuments, all museums, the best restaurants and the train station.
