About this property

This nonsmoking, pet free, two bedroom two bath condo is the perfect place for all beach lovers and sun seekers. We have furnished this condo with you in mind. The condo is freshly painted and has new tile in the entry way and kitchen, new carpet in living rooms and bedrooms and high end new furniture. There are flat screen HDTVs in the living room and both bedrooms. The bedrooms are spacious and modern. The living and dining rooms have floor to ceiling windows to maximize viewing. Our furniture is comfy and colorful. The master bedroom has a king, the guest room has two double beds, and there is a pull out sofa sleeper couch.We also have Pack N Play for the little ones. The kitchen is completely furnished.The two bathrooms have granite counter tops and new tile floors. We have WIFI, movies for rainy days and even a lending library for all you readers out there. There are also tons of games for all ages. Our laundry facility is just outside our front door. We have beautiful tennis courts and a beach volley ball area. Located near the pool and club house are grills, and a preparations area and a table for relaxing while you make all those yummy burgers and fresh seafood. Try the fresh Grouper . If there is something special that you need, just let us know and we will try to make it happen. Oh yes, and we are literally across the street from the beautiful white sand of Destin's beaches.
Be sure to ask us about monthly discounts. During the winter months, we love to offer our renters a discount. Please note, there is a $10 a day resort fee, not to exceed $100, payable closer to your arrival. I cannot collect this through this website, but by a third-party. I will contact you to discuss payment options.

Our reaction to the property

While we are not upset, we feel that the photos on the VRBO site were misleading, giving us an impression that there might be a view of the water. Rather, we had a view of the parking lot. The bedroom furnishings were very nice. However, the living/dining room area were dated, with the large sofa cushions were in poor repair. Regardless, our stay was most pleasant. Thank you!

Perfect Getaway

I can only say good things about our stay! The owners were always easy to communicate with, they provided everything you need (that you don't even think about when packing), and the location is within walking distance to the beach.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Fully stocked condo

The condo was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with spices and other cooking ingredients. All the pots and pans and dishes that we needed. I would definitely stay there again!

Great stay!

Our family of 5 stayed here for five days. The short walk to the beach was so convenient and having the pool was perfect for days we couldn't get in the ocean. We loved the quiet building and neighborhood vs staying at a large crowded hotel/resort. The condo was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Great place, great experience!

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway to Jane and Deb’s condo. The condo was very clean, nicely decorated, fully stocked, and conveniently located across the street from the beach and near attractions, restaurants, etc. Communication with the hosts was excellent from start to finish, with excellent information provided along the way. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

The condo itself was nice but....

We had a good time because we always make the best of our trips. The condo itself was nice and clean. Disappointed in the long track to the beach that was suppose to be 20 steps. Disappointed in the 20 foot by 20 foot area we were only allowed on the beach in. Disappointed we encountered a Sea Hag who was very hateful telling ppl who got close to her beach cones to move away. She even yelled at a kid who accidently kicked his ball on her side of the cones. Disappointed that we had to pay to do laundry in a floor shared laundry room. Disappointed we did not have a keurig that was suppose to be there and rather than the host Bringing us one she wanted us to go buy one she would reimburse us...that's not a good host in our opinion. The Beach access was the worst because In order to get a good ocean view and water access we had to get there by 8 am before others set up big canopy's that obscured everyone's view. The walk over there down 3 flights of steps and back was ruff on replaced knees and hips carrying chairs, small coolers and beach bags for the day when listing boasts literally 20 steps from ocean/beach.

We will be back!

We loved our stay. My husband, myself and 2 adult children had plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. Check in and commication with the owners went without a hitch. The best part was proximity to the beach. It was about a 90 second walk to the beautiful, private beach with white sand and the gorgeous emerald water of the Gulf. The beach is very clean and family friendly. It's a great spot to decompress. We will definitely be back!!

Florida getaway near the ocean

Like home away from home. Close to waterfront restaurants. Hostesses readily available, and left lots of suggestions on what to do while in Destin. We would return.

The condo is beautiful! Location was perfect! Was taken aback by a resort fee request a week before check in. Would have felt fine paying it but it felt sketchy sending it via Venmo.

Best location in Destin

Absolutely a great location and host. If you are looking for easy access to the beach, quite nights, and a kid friendly location, this is your spot. Restaurants are within walking distance and just about everything else is within a mile or two. Jane, the host, is truly great to work with and is super easy to communicate with. This condo, combined with Jane's superior service, has made this our new favorite place in Florida.

Breathe taking

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Check in was easy, carts on the first level for luggage, seconds from the beach. There is even a place to rinse off the sand from the beach before entering the condo. The condo was clean, stocked with everything you’d need to cook for your stay. Everything labeled where everything was in the kitchen. The toilet paper was even scented!! There was books, board games and tv for our family to enjoy. A beautiful balcony overlooking some really beautiful looking homes. The pool area was clean and very family friendly. The condo is also walking distance to a amazing little restaurant called Kenny’s D which I highly recommend. Check out was a breeze. I don’t think you can find a better well priced condo seconds from the beach as this location. Absolutely will be back 💯 amazing all around stay.

Perfect for what we wanted.

The property was perfect for the price. This property was built in the 80’s, so it’s not brand new, but still kept up. We had 2 adults and 4 teens. Since it’s was boys/girls, two of the teens used the hide a bed in the sofa. It worked out fine for us. The beach was easy access across the street, with a very short walk. The pool area was nice and was also a very short walk. Parking was against the building and abundant. The owners were quick to respond with any questions we had. The cabinets were well stocked with dishes. The place was clean and had supplies readily available to be able to keep it that way during our stay. There was one cabinet that had spices and such. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. Check-in was simple and on time. There was a nice balcony with outdoor furniture. They even had a closet with some beach supplies. All said we were very happy with our stay and we thought the price was fair.

Having vacationed for years in Destin we decided it was about time to put down some roots. My husband and I are retired and do a great deal of traveling. I travel to Europe yearly . I was a travel agent for 45 years and saw the world, but I have always felt that Destin is the very best place to relax and unwind. We come to Destin because we love the temperate weather, as opposed to other Florida beach communities. It's not too hot or too cold. We picked this specific location because of the great ocean view sidewalks that span for miles. This area is wonderful for bicycling, running, and walking with up front and personal views of the ocean. Our children and grandchildren always look forward to their trips to Destin. You can not beat the emerald green waters lapping the shore of pristine white sand, some of the best dining in Florida, and a haven for shoppers. Come give us a try. Destin will not disappoint.
