About this property
Charming 2-bedroom in the heart of Fishtown, Philadelphia
Welcome to Oxford Greenhouse - a historic home in the very heart of Fishtown, one of Philadelphia's truly remarkable neighborhoods. Only steps away from the La Colombe Flagship coffeehouse, top restaurants like Suraya, Kalaya, and Pizzeria Beddia, and lively weekend nightlife, the Greenhouse offers comfortable accommodations for four, with a well-appointed kitchen, recently renovated bath, and expansive backyard, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city.
The property contains ample space for you to relax and enjoy. The first floor has a living room, dining room, and chef's kitchen, which leads out to the large backyard with deck and pergola. The second floor has one bedroom with queen size bed, an office, and a bathroom with double vanity. The third floor has another bedroom with queen size bed.
Please note that the house has somewhat steep staircases that may be not be ideal for younger or older guests. This is a historic home - built around 1920 - that has been lovingly maintained and updated by generations of homeowners. We bought this house when we moved to Philly in 2017, and still live here part of the year. We are so glad to share our home and hope you enjoy experiencing a piece of Philadelphia's history.
The whole property is available to guests except for the basement, which is used for host storage and cleaning supplies.
