About the host
Hosted by Katrin and Sam

Katrin and Sam Teel have decades being part in the Castine region. Living, working and raising kids. For years Kathi worked as a nurse at the Blue Hill Hospital and Sam as Professor at Maine Maritime Academy. 50 years ago Kathi's parents owed the property upon which we built Grace Cottage. It was part of a larger lot of land. That same house still stands today and is visible across the field from their property. Sam (as a cadet at MMA) remembers clearly going to that house to ask her parents permission to marry their daughter.
