About this property
Sanibel Beachfront 3 BR 2 Bath Compass Point Full Gulf View - Pickleball, Pool
Escape to this tranquil 3-bedroom large corner condo at Compass Point in Sanibel. We feature 2 king beds and 2 twin beds, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our corner unit offers broad, sweeping views of the gorgeous Gulf and white sandy beach that is abundant with a variety of collectible, keepsake treasures that arise new each day from the ocean! Shelling on Sanibel Island is the best!
View all the fun and relaxation that can be had at the beach through floor-to-ceiling windows, or from the comfort of your own screened lanai with access from both the living room and master bedroom. Watch the sun rise over the Gulf of Mexico/America from the lanai, living room, or master bedroom (we also regularly see dolphins frolicking in the waves!).
Enjoy the full kitchen with all amenities needed for convenience and comfort, along with washer/dryer, high-speed WiFi, Smart TV/cable with DVD player in living room, TV/cable in each bedroom, 2 bathrooms equipped with showers and blow dryer, and more. Come unwind in comfort in our "home away from home" and experience the natural beauty and peacefulness of Sanibel, a tropical paradise!
Compass Point is a beachfront, mid-sized complex situated in the middle part of the island. With only 45 units and a large variety of amenities, this is a perfect spot for your next travel adventure. We have a (heated) pool, community gas grills, elevator, private beach access boardwalk with shower stations, and a newly renovated sports complex (tennis, pickleball, basketball, shuffleboard, bocce).
We also have your beach needs covered with beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, wagon, shelling tools, and more all provided in a private and secure storage locker for this unit.
From this perfect location of our condo, we've seen dolphins from the lanai as well as when we would walk or lounge on the beach. We have even been swimming on the beach directly out from the unit and had a manatee swim up so close we had to move out of the way to avoid touching it (touching dolphins and manatees is prohibited). We're a 2-mile beach stroll to the famous Sanibel Lighthouse with a new Gulf of Mexico/America adventure awaiting each day.
Sanibel is also home to the J.D Ding Darling National Wildlife Reserve with an interactive and amazing Nature Center, hiking trails, and a 5-mile nature drive available. The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum is also something special and educational to see and visit. The island has miles and miles of walking and biking trails, as well as several nearby golf courses, fun and unique boutiques, and restaurants cooking up fresh catches and delicious dishes. This kid-friendly island also has lots of fun and educational opportunities for young and old alike and is great for families. Our family loves the SCCF (Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation) which provides educational seminars and the wonderful daily and weekly sea life/education through Sanibel Sea School for children (ages 4-13). The CROW (Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife) is another family favorite with interesting talks by wildlife experts, meet and greets with the ambassador animals, and hands on learning through play for the children. Gift shops are available at most if not all of these locations with unique items to purchase to take home and remember your unforgettable experience on the island. We also would be remiss if we didn't give a huge shoutout to the Sanibel Public Library for the amenities it offers to residents and visitors alike--check it out!
In fact, many families return to the island annually and have even made this a generational retreat/reunion location. One trip to Sanibel will get you and your family excited to return for more fun, sun, and adventure making lasting memories.
Perfect for a family vacation, a romantic honeymoon or anniversary getaway, an opportunity to refresh and refuel, an opportunity to even write that book or launch your next new venture.... This hidden jewel of an island is perfect for about any type of occasion you might imagine.
We'd love for you to come stay in our "home away from home" and see for yourself all that this natural hideaway has to offer.
