Perfect for Instagram but...

First of all, this is not a villa. The accommodation is within a hotel complex with more than 40 other "appartements". Pros: Very nice people always willing to help you out. Good quality wifi accessible from anywhere on site (including restaurant and lobby). There is a restaurant with well priced options, convenient as the complex is a bit remote from the centre of Ubud. They offer a free shuttle service several times a day to go in and out the city. Cons: The accommodation looks exactly like in the pictures you see online... Although that wouldn't tell the full story. Everything seems a little unfinished, from the loose door handle to the huge gaps around the doors, responsible for a bad insulation (temperature and insects wise...). Despite the fact they clean the place everyday, we found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom which is quite unpleasant. We didn't even use our private swimming pool as the water was merky, you can't see the bottom and it smelled really bad next to the filter... No thanks. There are other public swimming pools in the complex but they looked as dodgy. A shame as this place really has the potential to be spectacular but the lack of attention to detail kind of ruins it all... If it's of any interest to you, it will look perfect on Instagram but your experience might not reflect it.

Amazing!!!

This villa looks exactly as pictured. The staff was great! Absolutely loved this resort. The breakfast was great and super reasonable. The staff was very accommodating. My only issue was WiFi was super poor but other than that everything was exactly as described.
