Charming House - Great Location for Mission Bay - Nice Host
Our groups booked this house for a conference event taking place in Mission Bay. This neighborhood and house were very charming and a short drive to the event center. Maxim was attentive and readily available and responsive for communication throughout the stay. He is very friendly and accommodating. He truly cares about providing a good experience and is grateful for feedback. The yard is truly a lovely space with a hammock and hot-tub and mature landscaping. Eating on the back deck in January was such a joy, having come from a cold winter climate. Some inconvenience that reduced the rating included: The check in process was not self-serve during our stay so that required additional coordination with host. This was a minor difficulty to effectively communicate while traveling and potentially arriving at a time inconvenient to the host isn't ideal arrival experience. The host has made updates to the property that included some renovations. As such, the photos on the listing were not current and there was some remaining cleaning post renovations that had been missed.The decor and furnishings are a bit different than was in the photos. Hopefully host will be able to update these soon to avoid any misrepresentations. (ie, Musical instruments were not present and available to play.) I would recommend this house and host, and book again if needed, knowing that he is responsive to feedback and pleasant to work with.
