My brother and I bought the property in 2023 and we use the private residence on the upper level for our families. We grew up coming from Florida to the area because our grandparents had a home near Asheville. Having this is like coming home. We are both retired. So we are around a lot!

Why they chose this property

Special care has been taken to chose everything in the design and furnishing of the house with the vacation renter in mind. The beds are especially comfortable. The bathroom has every amenity including magnifying mirror and makeup lighting. There is a pool table, loads of games, big screen TV, and bean bag toss. Name it we have it. The kitchen has every tool, dish, pan, appliance you would need to prepare even a gourmet meal. The living room seating begs to have the family talking and laughing. It sets the stage for great fun evenings after you spend the days exploring.
The outdoor area is breath taking with its views. You can eat outside under the covered patio. Light a fire and simply watch the sunsets. On holidays this region celebrates! You might get to watch the 180 degree mountain view light up with fireworks. Or enjoy the amazing color change in the fall from green to fiery oranges, yellows and red. Or marvel at the snow covered mountains and the quiet pristine lake.
