Family Get Away

Our stay at the Beach Bum Beach House was just what my family needed to enjoy the Gulf coast and unwind. The checkin process was easy and the house is exactly how it's described. We enjoyed the pool and the yard for family games. I would recommend this house for any group wanting to enjoy the beach and everything the Gulf coast has to offer.

AMAZING!

I cannot say enough great things about this property! We rented both sides of the beach house for our family and we certainly enjoyed it. When going to the beach, we really like having beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys. The house had all those things plus a wagon to carry them to the beach. While the house is not directly on the water, you can hear the waves and we loved it. We would love to rent again.

It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is a lovely pool, but temps were too cold to enjoy. We brought our dog and it was a very dog friendly accommodation, including bags for clean up!

The property flooded in the yard and the people that rented the other half had an aggressive large dog that barked non stop. I thought the max weight of dogs was 35lbs and their dog was double. Pool was great after it was cleaned on Friday which was our last day.

Super Clean

Probably the cleanest place I have ever rented and I'm a stickler for clean. Check in was easy and walk to the beach was not bad. The piol would be great for warmer weather. Very nice to be able use the other side of the duplex for large family or friends. I appreciate being able to bring our daughter's dog, Sampson, since we were there for him competing in a Coursing event. So many places don't allow dogs. Follow and respect the rules for pets so more dog lovers can bring their fur babies with them when they travel.

Great family house close to the beach!

This house is in a great location and has a lot of amenities! Fully stocked kitchen as well! It's a great spot if you're bringing your pets as it has a fenced in yard if needed! The kids will love the pool and the little sand pit in the yard with the sand toys. The kids especially liked swimming at nighttime with the color changing pool light! It's a 5-10min walk to the beach and a very easy walk at that! Waves grocery store was right down the road and they have plenty of items making a quick stop for extra items very convenient. I would recommend this home to any families and for us, we may even consider getting more people together and renting out both sides of the house! Overall, we were very happy with this house and all it provided for our family! :)

The owners make sure that you have everything needed and are constantly checking on you to make sure that all is going well. The weather was perfect. We stayed from Saturday to Saturday and you couldn't ask for a better more relaxing place. You have all the amenities that you need. The kitchen is very well stocked. The property was very clean and sanitized. There is more than enough parking downstairs for vehicles. The pool was very clean and water was crystal clear....but a little chilly for swimming but was very pleasing to look at every morning from the deck. I would recommend this property to all of my friends and relatives. There is a restaurant and store within walking distance. Also the beach is within walking distance from the property.
