Lake Geneserath is ideal for fishing and observing local wildlife, including nesting loons. The setting is peaceful and serene and most of the land surrounding the lake is undeveloped and never will be! Jet skis are best left to Lake Michigan, not Lake Geneserath–here, the lake invites you to unwind and embrace the tranquility of nature. The home has a private dock and a private beach for you. This section of the lake has a sandy bottom that gently and gradually increases in depth for at least 20 yards before it drops to deep water. The dock and the beach make launching the provided watercraft easy and enjoyable.
Transportation to the island is available by ferry or by plane, both transportation paths leave from Charlevoix, Michigan. For information about transportation to the island, visit the following website for descriptions and links to the ferry and airlines. https://www.beaverisland.org/transportation/
