The Cottage is located in the heart of Oxford. It is around the corner from Bottletree Bakery and is walking distance to University of Mississippi. It is in a perfect location to enjoy Ole Miss sporting events. Not to mention it is the perfect location to relax and savor the charm of Oxford and the Square. While staying at the newly renovated, fully equipped 2 bedroom- 2 bath cottage one can enjoy shopping and fabulous restaurants on the Courthouse Square while leaving the car parked in the private drive the entire time.

Great Location & Very Clean

This is a great rental with a perfect location. The location is a block away from the square and a very easy walk. The house is spotless and has everything that you will need during your stay. Don’t hesitate to rent this house if you’re visiting Oxford.

Perfect location!

This is the cutest house in the most perfect location. We didn’t have to drive anywhere. Stayed 2 nights and never moved our car. Waked a few blocks to the square and walked to the stadium for a concert Saturday night! Will definitely stay here again!

3 minutes to The Square

We have stayed at this property many times, and we just love it. It is a cute cottage - and you can walk to the Square in 2-3 minutes!! There is a driveway that can fit two cars which is helpful. The Host is awesome and very responsive. Our son is graduated from Ole Miss May 2023 and is now finishing grad school, but we hope to continue to come back to Oxford in the future - and we will stay at this place!

Parent Weekend

Best location for school and square

I could not ask for anything better!! Quaint, clean and absolutely perfect. The location doesn’t get any better- we walked to the square, we walked to the grove. Everything we needed was available- we didn’t need to ask for a thing. This place was worth every penny and I hope they’ll have us back- I have 2 more years of events to attend 😊!!!!!

The Walton Guest Cottage

Felt Like Home

I was raised in a southern college town. Our house has been in the family for more than 100 years. This property made me feel right at home. Obviously lovingly restored/maintained, the property is quite comfortable without being overstated, classy without being ostentatious, and practical without being Spartan. I would recommend the property to friends and I intend to return.

The Walton Guest Cottage

We had another wonderful stay at the Walton Guest Cottage! It is a great, warm, perfect place for a stay in Oxford. Very close to the Square and major roads. You can walk to Ole Miss and The Grove and Football Stadium as well. We of course will be back!

Perfect Oxford stay.

We stayed here while moving our son back in for the semester. The location cannot be beat. The house is adorable and well-maintained. We enjoyed relaxing on the little back porch at the end of each day. The owner/manager was lovely to work with. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Perfect Placement and stay! Will love to visit again!

The house was in the perfect place near the square. We parked once, and walked the entire weekend. The beds were super comfy as were all accommodations. Debbie was even sweet enough to help me with a technical issue with the TV at 9:00pm. I cannot say enough great things. I look forward to visiting again.

Great location, comfy and cozy

We enjoyed our stay -- owners checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! Love being able to pick up cinnamon rolls from Bottletree bakery in the morning and eat / shop on the square with such ease. We will be back !

Great Game Day Accomodations

Perfect house for gameday for four. Cozy house with everything you need. Walked anywhere we wanted to go including the Grove. Owners were awesome! Easy check in and check out process. Would stay here every weekend if I could.
