Welcome to Colby Oasis, your peaceful retreat nestled on a tree-lined street in West L.A.'s Mar Vista neighborhood. Our newly constructed, bright and airy 2-story ADU is complete with a large open concept living room and kitchen, tranquil bedroom & bathroom, and stunning roof deck offering unobstructed views of the neighborhood and surrounding hills. With its modern Scandinavian-inspired elements, our stylish home offers a quiet serenity that's hard to find in the middle of the bustling city.

Located in one of LA's most sought after neighborhoods, this stunning gem is minutes away from the vibrant energy of Santa Monica and the famous restaurants and shops of Sawtelle Japantown. Once you are inside this fully detached unit, you feel the peace and serenity of being perched above it all. Upstairs, our bright and airy living room has plenty of seating and entertainment options. The adjoining dining room features a table with seating for 4, while the open kitchen has stainless steel appliances and offers all the conveniences and comforts of home. There is a dedicated work station, located directly under a bright window facing open sky, and hi-speed internet. There's also a full-size sofa bed in the living area.

Downstairs, the spacious and comfortable bedroom has a plush Queen-size bed and windows offering serene views of the surrounding greenery. The full bathroom is directly down the hall, and features a large and inviting shower, along with a Japanese-style toilet with bidet for your convenience. There is also a laundry area, with a new washer & dryer that is available for your use.

A spiral outdoor staircase leads to our stunning roof deck, a feature that truly steals the show at this property! The deck features a table and seating for four, perfect for enjoying some wine and taking in one of LA's iconic sunsets. It also features two comfy outdoor loungers, allowing you to experience full relaxation and serenity right in the heart of LA. There's also a Weber BBQ grill for your use, perfect for that al-fresco meal under the stars.

Colby Oasis is full of modern touches and endless convenience, allowing you to truly experience the multi-faceted whimsy of LA. We hope you enjoy our zen retreat and make it your own personal happy place!

You’re renting the entire ADU and roofdeck. Make yourself at home, as everything in the unit is yours to enjoy exclusively! Please note that the owners live in the main house directly off the street, but they do not access your space.

Our property is professionally managed by a full service vacation rental agency, so your trip will be worry-free from beginning to end. We will take care of everything from hosted check-in to departure, and will be available for anything you need along the way. We are also available to handle any special or a-la-carte requests, including pre-arrival grocery shopping and arrangement of transportation and/or tours.
CITY REGULATIONS & RENTAL RULES
(we don't make the rules, but we do follow them!)

**No parties or large social gatherings of any kind are permitted at this location!**
Neighbors have been notified that this property is a vacation rental and are encouraged to call a hotline to dispatch authorities to investigate any disturbances. If the city issues a violation, guest will be responsible for payment of any fine(s) and may be evicted with no refund.

- Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25.
- Photo ID of primary guest must be submitted prior to checkin.
- Daytime occupancy is 4 people.
- Overnight occupancy is 2 people.
- Maximum of 1 vehicle allowed.
- The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line, and no noise at all is allowed outside after 10pm.
- Enjoy the outdoors of the property, but please keep children from trampling our beautiful landscaping.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
- Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM.
- Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest.

PETS
- Pets are NOT allowed at this property. Any signs of pets on the property will incur an additional $500 fee and will be cause for eviction.

NO SMOKING
- We have a no smoking policy. Any signs of smoking in the unit will incur an additional $250 fee.

CLEANING
Final cleaning after your checkout is included in your reservation quote. For stays longer than 6 weeks, guest will be responsible for the cost of a mid-stay clean every 30 days. Funds for mid-stay cleanings will be collected from guest as they occur.

INSURANCE FEE for Vrbo & Direct Bookings (does not apply to Airbnb bookings)
Guest is responsible for the service fee below, depending on length of stay:
● $99: 1-29 nights
● $450: 30-59 nights
● $150: each additional 30-night block
