Our townhouse is comfortably furnished south-of-the-border style. Skylights brighten an open floor plan interior. The spacious great room features high ceilings, gas fireplace, dining area, and view of the Catalina Mountains. Bedrooms are located at the opposite ends of the unit.
Wireless DSL with a strong Wi-Fi, all utilities, and a smart speaker are included. An HP printer is included - accessed through the Wi-Fi network.
Master bedroom has a king bed (two twins merged) with a 36” flat screen TV; Second bedroom has a queen bed with 23” flat screen TV; Living room includes 55” HDTV smart TV with access to Netflix, Prime, etc. and a Bose sound bar. All three TVs are served by Directv with record and playback capability.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and tableware for eight, all the cookware you could possibly use.
The garage is 15'2" long and 16'7" wide. We have two bicycles for you to enjoy at your own risk and commitment to care for them. Many paved trails in Tucson await.
From the patio enjoy beautiful views of the Catalina Mountains and Canada del Oro Riverbed. Patio has old Mexico feel with cobblestone, couch, lounge chairs, dining table, chairs, and a string of soft lights. You will enjoy the evening sunset as it reflects stunningly on the Santa Catalina Mountains. Early risers are treated to phantasmagorical sunrises.
It's just a three-minute stroll to the shared La Morada HOA community pool and hot tub to the SW. There, the Catalina Mountains provide a striking backdrop as you swim, soak, or just savor the setting while relaxing in a chaise lounge.
Tucson Omni offers two excellent golf courses—the Catalina, which used to host the PGA Champions event; the Tom Lehman-designed Sonoran desert course, beautifully appointed with flowers and rock displays. There's a World-class day spa and fitness center (daily fee); and three restaurants at the Hotel Omni just a nice walk away.
Outside our door you can access The Loop, an excellent 100-mile walking/biking path. Nearby: YMCA, Pima Community College, Bashas grocery, restaurants,, and several reasonably priced public golf courses. Downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona can be reached in 25 minutes.
Tucson offers a wonderful variety of outdoor and cultural attractions. You will find world-class art throughout Tucson, such as the Tucson Art Museum, and a wide range of music including opera, Tucson Symphony, and a varied selection of Mexican-mariachi music. Hiking opportunities are abundant from the simple to very advanced (since the city is surrounded by five mountain ranges and bordered by a national park, there are seemingly endless opportunities to get out and experience nature..
Places to visit include Sabino Canyon, Catalina State Park, Saguaro National Monument, Ventana Canyon, Tohono Chul (“One of the World's Great Botanical Gardens”), San Javier Mission, Pima Air Museum, and our favorite, the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum—a zoo, botanical garden, art gallery, natural history museum, and aquarium all in one giant desert space.
