Great Home away from Home

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Coral Cay. The staff were friendly & helpful. Instructions for late check in were clear & easy to follow. Only bit of info missing was the fob needed for pool entry. Although the property is not really close to Disney it was only a short drive. It had every convenience we would need for the duration of our stay very close by, shops & grocery store etc. We really enjoyed the Spa at the end of a long day. It was a comfortable stay and suited our needs for self catering. Yes the furnishings could use a deep clean or replacement, but the amenities were great value for the price paid. Although this Hotel would suit larger family groups we'd also recommend it for 2 - 4 people as it makes for a more comfortable stay over a serviced small Hotel room, if you don't mind doing your own laundry & cleaning.

Great location for all the parks.

The house was lovely and clean, the carpets were a bit stained but not terrible. The location of this resort is great, close to all the theme parks and near a Walmart and Aldi. The hot tub is a real bonus when you return from a day out with sore feet and the children loved the table football. The beds were ok, just a preference thing but they were a bit soft and the futon was apparently very uncomfortable. The main drawback was that our house, 2425, was by a street lamp and there were only blinds at the bedroom window which let in a lot of light, this made it a bit difficult to sleep and woke us up early. I am sure that other houses would not have this problem though.

Lovely resort not far from Disneyworld.

The room we stayed in at Coral Cay Resort was lovely and clean. Very roomy. Had everything we required. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would stay there again if ever we travel to America ever. Highly recommend this resort.

Excellent Resort

We were very impressed with the whole resort. The apartment was lovely, just as pictured and very quiet. There was plenty of room for 2 families. The staff were very helpful and obliging, none of our questions being a problem. A car is needed when staying as the resort is a bit off the main road and not within walking distance of any of the main attractions.

Townhome with no cleanliness issues

I arrived at the property before the end of check in time listed in the pre-arrival email from the property. No one was present at the front desk. I had to call the hotline number in order to get a code to get the key to my unit. Upon inspecting the unit I was assigned, I found blood on a mattress cover, ants and roaches in the kitchen, pet dander in multiple bedrooms, stains on furniture, sand in hot tub and stains on walls. I was told the general manager would contact me within 20 minutes. He never did. Someone from the call center asked me to go check another unit at the property. The second unit had not been cleaned by housekeeping. My family and I left the property and had to find other accommodations for our week long vacation. I spoke with the general manager, Elvis, the next day. He guaranteed me a refund of $800+. That was 8 days ago. I still have not received my refund. I have emailed the general manager and called multiple times but have gotten no response.

Not so good

Very disappointed...... Took our family of 7 to Orlando to see Disney Parks. Arrived at Coral Cay and it looked absolutely nothing like the website. Old and not kept well. Little to nothing in the bathrooms and kitchen....Beds were filthy to the point we bought new bedding at a Walmart.Never will I use them again.....keep looking!. .

Poderia ser melho.

Cheguei no final da tarde e a chave da porta nao estava no local combinado. Como apos as 19h00 nao possui recepcao, tivemos que dormir com a porta destrancada. Fui na recepcao no outro dia e o responsavel so estaria la apos as 15h00; ou seja, saimos, pois nao iriamos perder o dia e a porta mais uma vez destrancada. Encaminhei um e-mail para eles e quando retornei no final da tarde a chave estava la e o rapaz pediu mil desculpas mas nao sabia o que havia ocorrido. Ja havia ficado la outras vezes, porem, depois deste incidente nao vou ficar mais. Nao da para ficar dormindo ou passeando e deixar a casa totalmente aberta.

Spring Break trip

Overall, it was a great experience. Staff was very friendly but difficult to reach at times. Location was excellent and safe. Townhouse was definitely older and showed significant wear, beds were uncomfortable and two of the four TVs did not work. Everything was clean but sugar ants were present. I wound still recommend Coral Cay, especially if you have a family and want lots of space and flexibility.

The property was very nice. The furniture was all stained including the wall. They are only at the office for 30 minutes in the morning and once more in the evening. It made it difficulty to keep plans made and check in. Didn’t get the key for the pool until bacially our last night there. It was in a great local area. Not far from universal Disney, fun spot old town, Walmart, Publix, fast food and Wawa. Love the hot tube in the back small screen back area. Didn’t like that the guy who cleaned it just walks right in to clean and then speaks another language. Made it hard to communicate this to him. I like the step up the full kitchen. King bed, queen bed and futon was not too bad but the two twin bed were very uncomfortable. One of my guest stay with me felt all there furniture looked like it was bought in a good will and filled in at all the different villas. Would stay in a similar place just a bit cleaner. My son and I have diabetes so it worries me that there was ants and stuff inside the house before we even arrived, filled in all over the dish washer.

Maisons à "rafraîchir" et besoin d'entretien

Logement grand mais a besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement... Et les lieux ne sont pas propres et beaucoup de poussières. Les équipements de la cuisine sont fournis au strict minimum (pas de saladiers, pas de plats à four juste une plaque...) Les meubles et équipements électroménagers sont "d'époque" mais fonctionnent bien.

Dated and dirty

The best thing about this place is that it is gated. I can also say that the gentleman at the check in counter was very nice. That is probably the end of the pros to staying at Coral Cay. Now I will start with the cons....the living room furniture is filthy. There are huge, gross spots on the sofa and chairs. The carpet is nasty. You don’t want to walk barefoot. It was nice to have 4 bedrooms if only the beds were nice. I’m not sure how old these beds are but they are extremely uncomfortable! That goes for all of the beds. There is a futon in a 5th bedroom that has seen better days. Now on to the bathrooms. I’m not sure about 2 of the bathrooms but the one in the master bedroom was dirty. There was long black hair in the tub. No one in our party has long black hair. The toothbrush holder is moldy. Disgusting! Now for the kitchen. The kitchen seemed to be clean enough but the pots and pans need to be replaced. There is also a hot tub in this unit. Unfortunately for us it was a cold tub. We had to call the front desk because it wasn’t working. He came and fixed that but it took until the day we checked out to heat up. The patio furniture needs to be replaced as it was also very dirty and dry rotted. Apparently it’s been out there a long while and cheap plastic chairs and tables cannot take the Florida sun for too long without being replaced.

Nice townhouse alternative to hotel in Kissimmee.

Experience booking through Expedia was excellent, as was the individual from Coral Cay who checked us in. Unfortunately had two issues 1) air conditioning did not keep temp below 72 degrees and did not get fixed even though we requested repair and 2) some issue with roaches.

Está foi a segunda vez que estive no coral cay e nunca mais volto. A casa estava suja, não existia água quento no chuveiro de um dos quartos, mobiliários muito antigos e péssimo estado. Por fim o triturar não funcionava e por dois dias a água retornou e transbordou da pia. Foi a pior estada que já tive nos EUA. Ia na recepção quase todo dia, mas jamais tentaram resolver os problemas. Hotéis.com deveria tirar esta opção porque o local está decadente e terá problemas com novos clientes.

Not impressed this time

Out of 4 stays at coral cay, this unit was not in the best condition. It need alot of cosmetic fixes. Painting, was missing linnen and the washer was too loud. The worst was neighbors leaving at 7am in the morning and make noise for over 30 minutes. Besides that i would still return as i love the location and how hàndy it is too eveeything. Wish there was an offer/diacount for returning guests
