Home Details:
Serene and simplistic, this 1 bedroom/ 1.5 bath condo overlooks the town of Seaside and offers gorgeous gulf views from your own private balcony! Situated above Dawson's Yogurt in Seaside's town square, Close to Eden has a large king master suite with private bath/shower only downstairs. Also, downstairs is a half bath. Up the spiral staircase you'll find the open living room with vaulted ceilings, extra seating, and flat screen TV. Also, upstairs is a stainless kitchen with sub-zero refrigerator and bar seating for two. French doors take you out onto your private balcony overlooking the town square. Enjoy one of Seaside's theatrical or musical performances from your own private balcony or sit back and watch the sun set over the gulf. Either way, you'll be Close to Eden when you stay here! Bring your hot spot, there is no WIFI at this condo.

Perfect location

I brought my teen granddaughter to seaside for a few days. Close to Eden was the perfect location for the beach and shopping. The bicycles were also fun.

Perfect!!

We absolutely love staying at Close to Eden! This was our second visit to the condo. We absolutely love the location and it’s close proximity to food, Shopping and to the beach. The condo is very nicely decorated, always very clean when we arrive and check-in could not be easier!

Couples retreat

We loved Close to Eden for our trip! It was the best location and view. We could see the ocean from the main room and the view from the patio was amazing. We enjoyed the less than 5 minute walk to the beach and the proximity to all the shops and restaurants. Close to Eden made for a relaxing retreat for our vacation!

Close to Eden

This was a girls trip and the size, amenities and location to everything we could want was just perfect. I did want to make you aware that the French doors upstairs would not stay closed during the torrential weather we head. In fact, my friend ended up using her purse strap to keep them shut so that we could sleep. Also- and this is beyond your control but may be worth mentioning- the noise level after 9:00 pm was terrible and every night. I am all about young people having fun, but it could be a deterrent for future rentals. Especially older ones who enjoy their sleep :). Anyway- thanks again for providing a lovely landing place for a relaxing time away.

Location, location, location!!

Outstanding location in the heart of seaside! Was a great long weekend getaway local for us. The views were amazing especially for Seaside-ocean views are rare. Views from every room. Easy access to the ocean, shops and restaurants. Upgraded bathrooms were beautiful. Plenty of space for two people throughout. Challenges included: Parking (there is no dedicated parking), location for outside trash disposal (description was vague).

Great location!

The views of the ocean are beautiful but also you get to experience of the town Seaside from a whole new vantage point. There is a Farmers Market on Saturdays. This place was the best place to watch a sunset. The bed is firm. The couch is cozy. There are 2 toilets which is nice. It’s a slice of heaven.

Perfect Location

Love the location!!! Right in the center of Seaside right above Modica Market. Only negative was I wish the mattress was a little more soft, but that is nitpicking. Other than that, is was perfect for us. Will definitely stay here again and can't wait!!!

needs help !

needs a major update!! furniture and tvs are pitiful. no wifi just pitiful furnishings. stairs are a nightmare to get to kitchen if you are not a fit human beware !

quality of room was not worth the price

Balcony door would not lock because of rust in the lock. a/c stopped working. spiral staircase made it very difficult to carry up groceries to the kitchen upstairs. Hurricane coming in and we left before it hit land, not knowing exactly where it was coming ashore.

Entire unit needs to be updated and painted. Rips in sofa. Unit did not feel clean. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. My husbands back was hurting so bad from the bed we left in the middle of the night because we couldn’t take it anymore. We didn’t receive the correct bike lock combo which kinda ruined our afternoon. No luggage carts made getting to third floor with our stuff very challenging. Only redeeming quality is the view, location, and kitchen area is cute. Also, fitness center is closed, would’ve like know that beforehand so I didn’t pay the fee.

As I gathered my things to leave Close To Eden I felt the need to send you an email review. As I stated the unit was not clean. The furniture was less than par on appearance. The rugs were either stained or worn out. The entire unit needs paining. When I mentioned the AC wasn’t working properly someone called me to offer to come to the unit. I was on the beach at the time. I had reservations about allowing someone to come in without me there. I had valuables around and during COVID, since my room had already been cleaned (not really) I didn’t want anyone in there during my stay. The tub doesn’t drain when taking a shower. The balcony lights are also burned out. I had someone ask me where I was staying. They they ask what it cost and they were shocked. The price for this unit is way to expensive for the condition of the unit especially since there is no washer and dryer, rusted chairs on balcony, rips in sofa, not clean, not up to date, the ac that works off and on(realize it’s new but I’ve been affiliated with the AC industry for 20 years-there is an issue)no wifi, no ice maker and the condition of the unit itself. The location and view is all it has going for it. Lisa

Great location in Seaside

The location is very good and convenient. There was an issue with the key not working to get inside the building. We were finally able to get in after continuing to jiggle the key (this was a 20-30 minute process). We learned that this had already been an issue and they let everyone know not to lock the building. I believe they are getting an entire new lock. The condo was fine. It would have been nice had a few extras (like sugar, salt and pepper, etc.) were provided. We did use the bikes that came with the condo. We would stay here again.

Close to Eden

The property itself was good for two people and in a great location. Bike tires were not aired up and not in the location as described on the flyer in the room. There is no need to contact concierge 48 hrs ahead of time f or bikes as stated in paperwork as they had no idea where the bikes were and told us to look in front of Modica Market. Location of Parking is behind the yogurt shop, not Modica. They were actually across the street from parking area at another building. The parking was not well marked as signage was on the parking curb and unable to see if cars were parked there. Once it was all figured out, it was very convenient to stay there.

Nice but...

Nice unit, love the location but not as well maintained as the other units we've stayed in, in that particular building. The Unit would benefit from some minor repairs an a general interior, (and some exterior) refurbishment.
