Friends weekend quaint quiet and comfortable

Absolute Oasis in Helotes

I can’t say enough great things about our stay here. The owners are so nice and the cabin was absolutely what we needed. Peace and quiet, they have everything you need for a family with kids. Pack and play, toys, kids book, playground, all the pots and pans, COLD AC, fire pit. We will be coming back many times! We went to sea world and the zoo, it’s close to everything but secluded. Beautiful night sky and El Chapparel was awesome, splurge for the margs!

Concert trip

Went to see concert at John T Floore’s store in Helotes. Location of cabin was 9 miles from the concert location. Recommend visiting Boerne also for walking and shops. 20 min drive away

Charming Property

This is our second stay here and we love it. It is so cute, super clean, Christmas decorations were adorable. We had such a great stay - lots of games, great outdoor area - decorated porch, fire pit, lights - just the best. My daughters and I love the break from regular city life. We will be back!

Darling getaway

This cabin is delightful! It's filled with literally everything you need for a great stay. It's quiet which is so welcome after visiting San Antonio. If I'm ever down that way again, I would definitely stay another time.

A very comfortable house

We stayed here for our friends wedding which was a few miles down the road at The Oaks at Heavenly. The property has lots of cool trees and the house has really nice open floor plan.

Best of Both Worlds

Our family chose this property because it seemed to be a good balance between proximity to San Antonio and a quiet retreat. The property didn’t disappoint in either regard! We loved being able to take in the sites during the day in the city with a reasonable drive, and return to the property for a campfire dinner and s’mores. The home is well-appointed and immaculately clean. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing at Villa Cardinale!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home in the hill country! If only our grandchildren could have been with us, to hang out in the kids nook, with bunk beds and toys! The outdoor space is wonderful, the rockers on the porch are perfect to enjoy with coffee and a book! The beds are very comfortable, and helped us sleep in later than we normally do! The kitchen has everything you could need, and a gift basket with popcorn and some drinks was very much appreciated upon our arrival. There is a lot to explore in this area, and this home is definitely the place to have as your home base!

Great Choice

Unbelievably amazing!!!

What an amazing place! Quiet, beautiful and comfortable. From the time we arrived until the time we left, we enjoyed every single minute of it. The owners were super amazing people who we cannot say enough great things about. They personally greeted us when we arrived, called to see if we needed anything, and they came to tell us goodbye when we departed. Without a doubt, this is the perfect getaway place for relaxing and enjoying some quiet time. The kids also loved making s'mores by the fire. This place is super clean and has everything you need! We cannot wait to go back!!!

Hello All! My name is Nora and my husband is Aldo and we are the owners and your hosts during your stay. Our house sits about 50'
away from the cabin, but the way everything is situated you will
have comfort and privacy throughout. It is self check in and we do
reach out to you on the day of or after depending on your arrival.
We don't usually meet unless we're out on the grounds, on a walk or at your request. I personally like to reach out by phone, call or text so I will need a contact persons number to communicate at the
time of booking.

We have been in the bnb business since 2019 and originally started
with Evolve. We decided to try going on our own, so in Feb. 2025
we dropped Evolve and joined VRBO. We were only able to transfer reviews from Vrbo bookings, but I'm proud to say we had a
5 Star rating throughout.

Why they chose this property

When we moved here 12 years ago we were in Awe of the property,
it felt like living in a park. I wanted to find a way to share our experience with others too. So 6 years later we opened Villa
Cardinale Cabin and have been enjoying it ever since. We hope
you do too and wish you all a very pleasant experience!
