AMAZING PROPERTY - BUT BE WARNED OF LOCATION
Our family of 6 recently visited St. Louis for the 1st time to enjoy our daughters rowing competition. We decided to stay in town and explore for a couple days. We LOVED the City Museum (which is a stones throw from the apartment) and the reason for our basis of location. However, a warning. Even though the apartment was fantastic, we had no idea that right below us from 10PM - 2AM was a HOT SPOT for drag racing and revving cars. We were told by a local this has been an issue since Covid. It was impossible to get a good night sleep! The hardest part is the location of the loft room with 2 beds (where our kids slept, 15, 11 and 9) were right by the window and had no way to escape the noise! I can say that if you are with adults or a family that stays up late, you wont mind the noise. But if you have small kids - It may be more difficult. This is in now way a reflection of the property owner who was responsive and helpful with all of our questions and acquisitions. One other suggestion. I would opt for the garage parking. But be warned: If you have a mini van or large SUV, you can't use the garage and street parking in front of the building is limited. It was very difficult for us to lug all of our belongings for the weekend 2-3 blocks. Finally. The nearest grocery store (we went to Fresh Thyme) was a 10 minute drive. We WILL go back to St. Louis and use this same property manager...but will select a different location more accommodating for our family.
