Thank you for your interest in our home, Waters Edge Jewel! Unfortunately, one of us is extremely allergic to dog and cat hair. Please be aware of California penal Code 365.7 which is Service Dog Fraud. Thus, pets are not permitted at the residence unless it is a documented service animal. Those who bring a pet that is not authorized by us beforehand will be asked to leave and an additional cleaning fee will be applied.

The Space:
THE HOME
Escape to the lake with Waters Edge Jewel. This Tahoma condo features beautiful lake views, all the benefits of the Waters Edge HOA membership, and a prime location. The HOA includes a swimming pool (only open during summer), BBQ and picnic areas, waterfront lawn, private beach, and a dock offering access to the expansive shoreline - all just steps away from the front door of the condo (~50 yards). During the winter, you're just 2-miles away from Homewood Mountain Resort.
The thoughtful, well-appointed interior offers lots of space to relax and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. A cozy living room is furnished with comfortable seating gathered around a fireplace and SmartTV (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). WIFI is available throughout the home.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a generous amount of counter space, and a built-in breakfast bar. When you are ready to dine over a home cooked meal, the dining table has seating for 6. Additionally, the unit has two decks, complete with a large outdoor table and gas grill, perfect for meals al fresco.

We are proud to say our home is accessible in many ways for those with disabilities and special needs. However, we are sorry to say that one of us is extremely allergic to dog and cat hair. We ask that you consider this prior to booking, as we will have to require an additional fee for a more specialized cleaning to avoid potential harm to us. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding of our effort to be inclusive. If you decide to move forward, please note that in addition to the cleaning fee, your service animal MUST be with you at all times (including when you leave our residence). The service animal also MUST be on a leash per our HOA policy. Failure to abide by these rules may result in having to leave the home as we will ask for your pet to be removed from the Airbnb.

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.
Our cleaners travel from great lengths and have tight schedules and therefore will arrive right at 10am. Failure to abide our check-out policy may result in fees.
The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.
