About this property

East Camp Stay - Cabin 1 + 3 + 4

The Ultimate Maine Escape! Stay in three of Otyokwa's Exclusive Lakeside Cabins in Bremen, Maine.
Nestled along the shores of Lake Pemaquid, our expansive property is the perfect spot to gather with up to 10 of your family and friends.
Otyokwa is a lovingly preserved boys camp from the 30's, with 40 acres of land and 2100' of western-facing shoreline. With an East Camp reservation, we're offering a smaller group stay in three of our Lakeside Cabins with communal use of the Kitchen Cabin, Bathhouse, and Lakeside Amenities.
Your stay includes private use of Sleeping Cabins 1, 3, and 4 with shared use of our Kitchen Cabin, Bathhouse (with hot water!), and communal use of our large lakeside area and swim beach. We also have a wood-fire Sauna available as an add-on amenity!
Sleeping Cabin 1 - One King bed - One Twin bed
Sleeping Cabin 3 - Two Queen beds (in two separate sleeping spaces) - One Twin bed
Sleeping Cabin 4 - One Queen bed
The Cabins are lightly and thoughtfully updated with new mattresses, fresh linens, and many pictures of Otyokwa over the years.
The Kitchen Cabin, with a refrigerator, stove, farm sink, and service for 30+, is perfect for morning coffee or indoor meal gatherings.
The Bathhouse has two private bathrooms, with a toilet, sink and shower in each, as well as two outdoor showers - the ultimate in nature bathing!
Plenty of space to spread out inside... but even more outside in our gathering area by the lake with several large picnic tables, BBQ grill, and natural stone firepit. Explore walking paths and quiet corners on our extensive 40+ acre property. Enjoy our canoes, drop a fishing line, or discover nearby islands on this expansive 7-mile body of water.
Provided with your stay:
- All linens + towels
- BBQ Grill propane
- Unlimited Ice from commercial Ice machine
- Several coolers
**Sauna, Kayaks, Canoes, SUPs, and Firewood are all available for an additional fee. Please inquire when you book and your host will be happy to help!

The bathhouse is cleaned regularly.
There may be other guests staying in separate cabins on the property and sharing communal areas. Otyokwa is the perfect place to relax with friends and family and maybe even meet new friends! We encourage friendly gathering but the extensive property and your private cabins offer the option to remain more secluded as you wish. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask your on-site host.
We are located 15 minutes from the town of Damariscotta, with its many restaurants, shops, and theater; though the camp feels secluded, it is still quite close to conveniences. The Camp is only 2 miles away from the ocean so you and your group can take advantage of local charters and enjoy the amazing sights of Muscongus Bay on saltwater excursions and experience a true working waterfront in Bremen. World-class seafood and oyster farms in Damariscotta and the rest of the spectacular Pemaquid Peninsula make for incredible day trips. The multitude of nearby trails and natural features showcase Maine’s natural beauty.
Our on-site host, Rheanna, is always available if you need anything during your stay, but will make sure you have you have the privacy you need to enjoy your time at Otyokwa.
Please respect our 11am check-out time - due to our tight turnaround time and housekeeper scheduling, if your guest party remains on-site beyond 11:20 on the day of your checkout, you will be charged an additional $100 fee for our cleaners' delay.
You will be staying in Maine and enjoying an indoor/outdoor living environment. This environment includes bugs. While we do our best with insect deterrents (bug spray, screens, mosquito traps), and our brisk onshore breeze helps keeps bugs down as well, there will be bugs sharing your space (mostly gnats and flies). Most guests find that they are a minor nuisance, but please consider your personal tolerance before booking.
Depending on your mobile carrier, you *may* not have strong data coverage (this is not common, but possible). WiFi is NOT OFFERED in the Cabin area. But that's okay. The live show is much better :) And if you NEED WiFi, the Farmhouse has highspeed internet and may be added to your reservation if available.
The cabins represent a rustic, Maine camp experience, with minimal climate control. We have fans, space heaters, and amazing linens and blankets, but if you're sensitive to extreme-ish temps, please plan your clothing and bedding accordingly. And not much beats a sleeping bag to keep you cozy at night.
Two private bathrooms, with hot water, flushing toilets, showers, and sinks are available in the Bathhouse along with two outdoor showers. The Bathhouse itself is shared with any guest that may be staying at the Lakeside Cabins. All running water is potable at Camp.
