A two bedroom Kitchen house stands in the back of a late 18th Century home. You will have your own house with a kitchen, living and dining area. Parking, Wifi, and laundry facilities are available. Excellent Location

The owners were very accommodating. The location was outstanding. The bedrooms were big and comfortable, the bathrooms were great. Don’t miss the Hayward-Washington house Tour, right across the street. We will be back!

Amazing location

We loved everything about this property. The location was perfect and it was very clean. Hosts were very friendly. The courtyard was perfect for coffee in th morning and a glass of wine in the evenings. Love it!!

First Visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home! We were able to walk to pretty much every where we went. Our stay was short but the location, privacy, and parking were great. An adorable courtyard to enjoy the nice weather. The hosts were very gracious and provide some basic provisions like muffins, juice, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, wine. Very much enjoyed our stay in this historic home!

Perfect Location!

My mother, sister and I loved this property! It was perfectly located for shopping, eating and sightseeing. The property was very clean and the bathrooms were very nice. The outdoor seating was such a bonus! The hosts were very accommodating and available if needed. I highly recommend staying here!

Charleston Sister Trip

Lovely and historically interesting home. Welcoming and helpful hosts. Lovely courtyard and easy walk/ride to Charleston sites. Taking suitcases up to and down steep stairs was a little tough for us old gals but we managed. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location in Historic District

Review of “South of Broad” House, Charleston We are a retired couple traveling from Florida to upstate NY after a month in Florida. Our stay was short, but very pleasant, in this historic house. Judy and Philip provided all the necessary items for a stress-free stay and went out of their way to be accommodating. The house was set in a perfect location “south of Broad” e.g., in the most desirable and historic part of Charleston’s French Quarter, near all the houses and sites most people visiting Charleston come to see. The parking was secure and off-street, and the house itself was set back behind the street and the main house, and so was quite quiet. We enjoyed a cocktail on the small seclude cobblestone courtyard next to the house, and you can too!

Charming Cottage in Historic Charleston

We had a wonderful stay at 86 Church St.The location is ideal, easy walking everywhere and plenty of restaurants on Broad St. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were new and clean. The cottage is comfortable and loaded with charm but it needs a deep clean and the kitchen needs updating.

Charleston get together

The owners/managers are on site and very welcoming and helpful. The location is great for spending time in historic Charleston and being able to walk and/or take the free bus. There is also space to park a vehicle in case you are driving.

Location was spectacular, able to walk to most everything we wanted to do in Charleston. This property could use a refresh, particularly where furniture is concerned, twin beds, living room and lighting in particular.

Fantastic Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We had no idea of the history behind it but our hosts filled us in on it upon our arrival. It was easy to walk to shopping, bars and restaurants. Owners were very accommodating and friendly.

Family weekend in Charleston

It was our kids’ (7&9) first trip to Charleston and this property provided the perfect place to give them the full experience. It was very convenient to walk to all the historical sites, market and restaurants we wanted to visit and the home itself is a real piece of history. The hosts are terrific and really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
