Beach Home sleeps up to 8, ocean and intercoastal views

This beach cottage is the perfect vacation home! Just a half block to beach access and boating (canal) access with view of both from the deck. The picture of beach access is taken from the house. One bedroom offers a full bed and the other offers 2 full/twin bunks. The living room features a futon sofa as well.

The home is beautifully decorated with all of the modern comforts of home including a fully stocked kitchen with new cooking accessories, & utensils, 47”flat screen TV, WIFI, 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom. There is parking for two cars and beach house storage offers a washer/dryer and beach gear such as chairs, umbrella, games, toys, beach cart, boogie boards and skim boards. The deck offers patio seating and 3 outdoor hot water showers to rinse off from the beach.

This is a wonderful family friendly home. Please no loud music or parties.

The ocean and beach are your playground, but there's lot of other fun things to do just minutes away. The location is just far enough from the crowds but close enough to walk to all of the attractions. Just a few short blocks you can take advantage of charter fishing, restaurants, an amusement filled boardwalk, surf lessons, jet ski rentals, kayak rental. On the island, you can enjoy historic Fort Fisher, the beauty of Kure Beach and the piers, and Carolina Beach State Park, miniature golf and shopping. We are a 15 minute drive into Wilmington where you can take advantage of the beautiful historic area downtown, UNCW, Airlie Gardens, and the historic battleship North Carolina.

Awesome stay!!

This was a great house and location!! Host was quick to answer any questions I had and messaged me not long after arriving to make sure check in was smooth and to see if there was anything we needed. I usually over pack with extras for the kitchen but there was really no need for that. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was great short walk to the beach access. Neighbor across the street was very nice. My spouse went on a fishing charter one day and enjoyed it. There are quit a few just across the street at the canal. Very pet friendly our dogs were very happy also. In short we are looking forward to when we can go back and will definitely book again at this location.

Beach Trip

Great little beach cottage, perfect location between the intercoastal waterway and the beach. Beach access is directly across the street. Food, coffee, restaurants, all within a 10-minute walk. Cottage was clean and equipped with everything you would need for vacation. Loved the porch/balcony. Craig's communication was top notch and very helpful. Would definitely recommend, and we look forward to coming back soon.

High School girls celebration

Craig the owner is reasonable guy. He understands all the situations. Our girls had a wonderful week in the house, they enjoyed every minute of the stay. The house is clean and neat. The location is perfect, near the beach and the town. The girls loved it. Thank you so much for allowing them to stay and celebrate their graduation.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. The house was clean upon arrival. The beach access was easy to pull our wagon across. (No steps to cross). You’re close enough to the boardwalk that you can avoid driving if you don’t mind a short walk. Will definitely be back.

Exactly as described. Craig was really great to work with and communicated well. We weren’t from the area, so he had great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Excellent stay with great location.

Beautiful location and house. Craig is a great host. Communication with him was easy and we loved all his recommendations. I will say, being in a house with 5 adults and one bathroom was rough but it worked out well since we were barely there. Will definitely come back again, maybe just me and my husband next time :)

Great place!

The house is cute, well decorated, and clean. It was perfect for a family of 4 with a dog. It is so close to the beach and right by a public access. There are beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, and a beach buggy. The 3 outdoor showers came in handy when we came in from the beach. Internet/wifi works great. The beds are super comfortable. The owner is so nice and helpful. We will be back!

What a gem

Great location! Super clean! Really beautifully decorated and cozy! Best equipped kitchen ever especially as far as spices go. The beds were a dream and I ordered myself the same mattress while I was there. No back problems and slept like a baby! The owners are super sweet and responsive. Think only negative was the lack of towels, we traveled by car but it was an extra big suitcase for bath and beach towels.

An excellent house in terms of location, amenities, quality, and ease of parking. Will book again! Would recommend providing bathing towels to guests as those items are bulky and many guests do not have the space in their bags to bring alongside beach towels.

Great location and pretty property for 8!

Owner communications are great and the experience is pretty seamless. We pushed its limits with capacity 8 ppl and were fine with 7/8 boys, but note there’s just 1 bathroom and 1 (sitting) room, so the deck becomes important for things like waiting for everyone to wake up. And outdoor shower kept bathroom available. No one had any complaints or inconveniences from the house, everything works as advertised.

Great spot

My wife and I stayed here with our two young daughters on Memorial Day weekend ('23). It's a great location...extremely fast to the beach (i.e. 2-3 minutes?). Very close to many good restaurants. It's also a great use of space...well done inside. We will definitely be going back. Also, the owner was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with.
