Great location, quiet, relaxing and sunny
Loved the house, spent a lot of time at the house and in the pool. House had all the amenities we needed although the TV had no signal. The town of Burgau was small and picturesque, the beach was long with soft sand. The kids enjoyed the water sports on the beach. There were enough bars and restaurants to try different places. The location good for trips to Sagres, Lagos and slip and slide all within easy reach. A great stay!

Superb villa and location
We recently had the pleasure of staying in this charming villa in Burgau, and it's safe to say the photographs on the Vrbo site don't do it justice. This gorgeous two-bedroom villa exceeded all our expectations. It features a comfortable sitting and dining area, along with a small but well-equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and washing machine, making our stay incredibly convenient. One of the highlights is the pool area and terrace, which get sunlight from morning until night, perfect for lounging and relaxing. Additionally, the private side balcony is an ideal spot for an evening drink while enjoying the sunset. The villa is clean and stylish, and we were impressed by the attentive service from the housekeeper and pool man, who both visited twice during our 10-day stay. The inclusion of beach towels was a great advantage, and the welcome gift of wine, essential store cupboard items and the liquid soaps and perfume was a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Burgau itself is a stunning place, and we appreciated the convenient No. 4 bus to neighbouring Praia da Luz and Lagos. Taxis to Lagos were also affordable, costing under €10 for a one-way trip. This was our fourth visit to Burgau, and without a doubt, we would not hesitate to book this villa again. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The property was clean and well equipt. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely outdoor area to sunbathe and eat. Easy walking distance of the beach and lovely local bars and cafes - everyone was so helpful and friendly. Lots of lovely walks close by as well as arras to explore further afield.

4th time staying in beautiful Burgau, this fantastic villa is by far the best we have stayed in, would love to stay again. Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, lots of extras beach towels, beach seats and amazing swimming pool. All you need 👍
Das kleine aber bestens ausgestattete Haus bietet alles was man braucht: ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten innen und außen, alle erdenklichen Küchenutensilien, Seifen, Strandhandtücher,…….und und und Die Lage ist perfekt - ruhig und trotzdem nur wenige Minuten Fußweg vom Dorfzentrum und dem kleinen Strand entfernt. Es ist die perfekte Ausgangsbasis für Wanderungen oder Ausflüge mit dem Auto zu den nahe gelegenen landschaftlichen Attraktionen der Algarve. Es gibt eine nette Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort und die Gastgeberin antwortet innerhalb kürzester Zeit auf jedwede Frage. Herzlichen Dank 😊😎

Gute Lage in Strandnähe
Sehr aufmerksame Betreuung vor Ort. Es handelt sich um ein besonders gepflegtes und schön eingerichtetes Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und gut eingerichteter Küche. Wichtig zu wissen: Das Wohnzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer. Zum Schlafen war es für unsere Zwecke nicht geeignet. Danke an Hilda und Candida, wir hatten einen entspannten Urlaub in einer komfortablen Umgebung!

Schönes Haus in toller Umgebung
Wir hatten in Burgau einen tollen Aufenthalt. Alles was man benötigt, war in dem schönen und sauberen gepflegten Haus vorhanden. Burgau ist ein kleines unaufgeregtes aber feines Fischerdorf. Die Umgebung ist fantastisch! Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Brilliant family holiday
Wonderful villa in a brilliant location. Within walking distance of shops, places to eat and beach. Villa was immaculate and equipped with everything you could need. Pool was ideal for kids as not too deep and lots of outdoor space. Caretakers were lovely, friendly and helpful - we hope to be back again soon.

Fantastic villa, great location
This was a superb villa on a corner plot. Plenty of parking. Easy walk into Burgau with a handful of restaurants and beach. Burgau has escaped the mass tourism ( not sure for how long). Villa had great facilities, was clean and the pool a great hit with teenage son. Great location to explore Algarve...a car is a must. Lovely coastal paths to Luz or Salema. Owners were extremely responsive with questions/ communication great. We definitely will be back, highly recommend!

Schöne Ferienwohnung
Eine tolle Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage. Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Es war super ordentlich und sauber und nach der Hälfte der Zeit bekamen wir komplett die Handtücher gewechselt. Bei Anreise gab es ein paar eingekaufte Sachen zum Frühstück, da wir erst spät abends gelandet sind. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Schön ruhig und zentral
Die Villa liegt am Bebauungsrand, der Küstenwanderweg befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Neben dieser tollen Wandermöglichkeit hat man es nah zum Strand und zum kleinen Ort mit seinen vielen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ein toller Ort zum Ausspannen und Erkunden der Westalgarve.

Heerlijke vakantie woning in de Algarve
In augustus verbleven wij in deze heerlijk vakantiewoning zeer dichtbij het centrum van het authentieke Burgau. De woning was van alle gemakken voorzien: een fijne zitkamer, een goede keuken en maar liefst drie badkamers. De slaapkamers beschikte ieder over een eigen badkamer en goed functionerende airco. De kamers konden goed worden verduisterd met de aanwezige elektrisch bedienbare rolluiken. Buiten beschikte het huis over een zonovergoten terras en zwembad met ligstoelen.

Ontspannen vakantie
Het huis is gelegen in heel leuk dorp vlak bij de zee, alles is in de buurt om een ontspannen vakantie te hebben. S morgens opstaan en op het gemak een koffietafel drinken terwijl je de pistoleetjes gaat halen, ook lekkere restaurantjes in de buurt. Wij hebben met de kindjes ook surfers gevolgd, echt een heel leuke vakantie. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt!

Amazing house
Just back from staying here and loved everything about it! The house location is great the sun is in the pool from 10am right through till early evening which is great they have a toilet downstairs which was ideal for my parents so they didn’t have to tackle the stairs each time they needed to use the bathroom A handrail on the stairs would be good for older people and children unsteady on their feet and the kitchen door gets in the way of the cupboards ha ha but minor things overall was a brilliant stay and would love to return again! X thank you
