Cabin was super clean and had an awesome shower. Perfect size for the 3 of us. Owner was super helpful and friendly. Cabin is 20 minute drive to Sebec lake that has great small mouth fishing.
This cabin was adorable and all that we needed to get away for a few nights! We will definitely be back. Thank you Brenda for your hospitality. Oh and the stars at night were amazing! All we had to do was step out of the cabin and the Milky Way was right above us. Thanks again!
My partner and I are outdoorsy people, currently living ridiculously busy lives. We needed to get away, breathe in some fresh air, and just sit still for a bit, far away from our hectic daily lives. Our little cabin provided just that. We got there and were immediately treated and told everything we needed to know. The cabin was cozy and adorable. It was the perfect jumping off point to head to the awesome grocery store and breakfast joints in Milo, as well as to head out for a great hike with our pup at the nearby state park. Every restaurant we stopped at in the area served delicious food, with Peace, Love, and Waffles, recommended by our host, being my favorite. We laid out in front of our cabin to watch a meteor shower, with billions of stars shining bright overhead, and used our time in the cabin to rest, read, and make art.
I’d highly recommend staying here. It was a wonderful experience.
The host was great to work with and very responsive to messages. The cabin was so cute and perfect for us and our little dogs. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice chairs on the deck to sit on also. We loved our stay!
My husband and I went on vacation for our year anniversary and stayed in a cabin for a week while exploring the area. Everything was perfect about this property! It was secluded and incredibly peaceful. It was a perfect spot to come back to after hiking or kayaking for the day. The hosts are wonderful people and care about making everything great for your stay. 100% we will be back!
We had a quick visit to the area. Cute little cabin. Had everything we needed: mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, a/c. Host was wonderful.
A beautiful location with amazing hosts. We felt like family and enjoyed visiting with the hosts. Even my terrified pup fell in love with them which made the stay even more enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next stay.😊
We really enjoyed our stay! The check in process was very convenient and simple, they left our cabin unlocked for us so we could just pull right up and get settled. Cabin was very clean and cozy, beds were very comfortable and the linen smelled nice, fresh and clean! The cabin was decorated very cute inside and had everything you could need! My dogs felt right at home and loved the beautiful walking trail behind the cabin. The area was very quiet and set back nicely in the woods, very welcoming environment. We hope to stay here again in the future!
It's a great place to getaway from the city. The cabin I rented was clean and spacious. It's almost a complete home. There's a nice trail at the back. I mainly enjoyed the peace and quiet. It's a perfect place to rest and relax.
It is a lovely and quiet place where you can really relax and reenergize. The cabin (4) in which we stayed was absolutely fantastic. The pictures on the site don’t reflect the reality, but the cabin was spacious, super clean and well equipped. Brenda, the host is wonderful, amazing and very nice person making you welcomed and feeling at home, responding to any requests and actually anticipating your inquiries. Peter, Brenda's husband, is very nice too. We had a great time and one day when we around we definitely visit and stay there again.
Me and my husband spent our honeymoon there and it was just what we asked for . we wanted to have a cabin in the woods and have it also feel like home which is what you will get and what I loved the most was seeing the beautiful night sky full of stars
This is a beautiful property! The cabins are nice, clean, and well equipped. She also provided great info on restaurants and there was even a satellite passing through the sky and visible at night! The location is great for a weekend getaway to check out the surrounding towns and stargazing. I would recommend this place for a quiet relaxing trip, just bring lots of bug spray because the black flies and deer flies are fierce in the summer.
Quiet, peaceful, wonderful stay in a remote location...just what we were looking for!
Had a wonderful, relaxing time here and Brenda was friendly and extremely helpful in guiding us to local spots to visit. Cabin was clean, cozy, and warm and updated recently with a comfortable full sized bed (and a twin), and decorated tastefully. This cabin is located in one of the most beautiful areas that we have ever visited in Maine. Oh and our dog Harvey had an absolute joyous time running around free outside the cabin. Unfortunately, we can’t give more than 5 stars but this spot deserves 100!!!! We can’t wait to return again before winter’s over! Thank you Brenda! See you again soon!
This was a great little cabin in the woods. Quaint and quiet, with hiking in the area. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.
Property and cabins very clean.
Property owners very accomadating.
We were new to the area and Brenda shared some area restaurants and points of interest not to miss. Great stay
Very nice stay here. The only one thing I'd recommend is separate fire pits for each camp.

About the host
Hosted by Brenda Lundquist
We moved here from busy Cape Cod to enjoy the quiet north Maine woods and have the opportunity to meet great people from around the world.
Why they chose this property
You will hear only the whispering of the leaves on the trees, birds chirping and no traffic noises. The open space around the cabins is not adequately depicted in a photo; big sky and awesome sunsets and an occasional rainbow after a shower.
