what a wonderful home. the house was modern and well appointed, with everything we could need. the outdoor activities (tennis court, pickleball and basketball) and most importantly, the lake access and water activities all made our stay truly memorable. Proximity to supermarkets made it simple as well. The hosts were great, and the caretaker very responsive.
This was our second visit to Lakinbrook and once again, it was a wonderful week! The house, the beach, the dock, the tennis court are all beautifully maintained. Cynthia and her husband took great care of us. The kitchen is so well equipped. Every room is a delight, the dining room being my favorite. Thanks for your hospitality!
The property was very spacious, meticulously maintained, beautifully appointed and very well equipped with all that you would need for a relaxing family vacation by the lake.
We were met by the property manager, Cynthia who was very helpful.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this property for a family get-together or gathering with friends.
A really nice place. Kitchen was well stocked with dishware, knives, pots, pans, etc.
We were unable to take full advantage due to the weather and wind.
We were a big family group with a lot of young kids and this place had it all! Having such a large beach on a lake is truly unique and we spent all day everyday at the waterfront. The water trampoline, bunk room, and s’mores at the fire pit were highlights for the kids. The kitchen was fully stocked down to ice cream scoops, a stand mixer, lobster tools and every size platter you could need to serve a large group. But the true differentiator was having the property manager live next door. This is a large beautiful property that inherently requires a true commitment to maintain, and the owners have pulled it off perfectly. Highly recommended and at the top for our list for a return visit.
This house has 7 spacious bedrooms: 5 on the top floor, 1 on the main floor and 1 one with bunk beds in the basement. It also has several common areas with gorgeous lake views. The host and the house manager (who lives next door) have thought of everything: from luxury toiletries in the bathrooms to the fully stocked kitchen and fresh cans of tennis balls to be used on the adjacent court. Not to mention several cases of bottled water and water cooler refills left for our use. Everything in the house (and around it) is spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained. We visited too late in the season for water activities but there is a sand beach in front the house that extends several hundred feet in either direction. This property is perfect for large families or groups of friends. We look forward to visiting again.
It’s almost impossible to find the perfect vacation home, but we did! This home had everything and lacked nothing. We came to Maine for my father’s 75th birthday. There were 18 of us ranging from 12-75. We had lazy mornings with a perfect view, spent our days enjoying the lake that is steps from the back door, and our evenings gathered around the fire pit. This house had something for everyone. The kids were kept busy morning, noon and night with all the amenities they offered. The owners have thought of everything down to enough utensils for a family of 18’s lobster bake. The manager of the home is helpful and very responsive. The layout is perfect. It has several gathering areas, but you can find lots of privacy too. It truly is a special place where you can make tons of memories like my family did.

A Perfect Setting for a Family Reunion
We have vacationed on Sebago Lake many times and always look forward to our trips to Maine. This year there were 16 of us, 8 adults and 8 children ranging in ages from 12 years to 3 months. This house was absolutely perfect! Cathy provided us with cribs and high chairs for our two babies! The house is thoughtfully laid out and the furnishings were beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and there were enough dishes for 30+ of us on a couple of evenings. The gardens are delightful! We enjoyed the tennis court, the beach, the dock and the spectacular view of the lake. We are looking forward to a return visit!

Wonderful week on Sebago Lake!
After years of vacationing in this area in previous years, we decided to find a house that could accomodate all of us in one house- 10 adults and 9 kids (ages 5-15) altogether. This house had everything we could have wanted and more! It was clean, very spacious, and had so many wonderful features throughout- too many to name! You couldn't get a better location on the lake- beautiful mountain views and sunsets. We loved the tennis/basketball courts, sandy beach, boathouse and deck, and the dock layout was perfect for the boat and two waverunners we brought with us. Cathy (the owner) was quick with responses and Cynthia (the property manager) was very informative and there to help us with anything we needed. We all agreed this was the perfect house and a wonderful vacation! We will definitely come back to this house again.
Thank you Cathy for sharing it with us!

Amazing stay in July on Sebago Lake
We had an amazing small family reunion at this house. There were 3 families, 12 of us all together. We had such a great time at the house that we really didnt want to leave to go do anything during the day. Although there is plenty all around to do. We did get in a whale watch and some shopping. The kids ranged from 15 to 25 and never once did we hear them say they were bored. There was plenty of outside activities as well as inside, so we always had a tournament going of some sort. We also had plently of relaxing time laying down by the lake. The house was much bigger than it looked online. We joke now that at times we had trouble finding each other, so there was plenty of room to spred out. If your into family dinners, you will love all being able to sit down together at the dining room table. We were so glad we found this place, and would not hesitate to rent it again. We found everything we needed to make our stay complete and was well worth the money for all you had to use there.
