Neighbourhood highlights:
The property is located inside the ring road. The buses into Oxford city centre are incredibly frequent and run every 10 minutes and are a short walk away from the property. Taxi's are less than £10.00 one way into the city centre. You can drive into the centre in less than 15 minutes. You can walk into town in around 40 minutes dependant on walking speed. Easy access to the M40 and M25.
In less than 5 minutes walk away there is the Templars Square shopping area with Sainsburys, Lidls, Asda Home, TK Maxx and many other stores. There are also cafe's and a few pubs within stumbling distance. There are a plethora of takeaways within walking distance (Chinese, Indian, KFC etc).
The vibrant Cowley Road is easily walkable from the house.
The Oxford Business Park is a five minute drive away, or 15 minutes stroll by foot. You can get to the Oxford Science Park in less than ten minutes by car, or buses servicing the Science Park are within easy walking distance (16 and 5a). Good location for the hospitals (JR, Nuffield & Churchill are less than 3 miles away, the bus stop for these is 1 minute away from the property).
Florence Park, a stunning park, adored by locals and visitors alike is really close to the house, easily walkable (it takes the kids and I, 6 minutes door to door to walk to). A must see for anyone staying at the property.
For the fitness fanatics; Pure Gym (24hrs) is a five minute walk away and the David Lloyd and a community leisure centre are also nearby.

About the host
Hosted by Amy

My husband and I moved to Oxford (for work) in 2004 after meeting in 1998, at university in Southampton. We got married in the Cotswolds in 2009. In 2010 we welcomed Charlotte into our lives and in 2014, James made our family complete. In that same year (2014), we bought this fantastic property.
Due to personal circumstance's, we made the decision, in the summer of 2019, to move out of the property (relocating less than 1 mile away). Since then, we refurbished the house from top to bottom, prior to launching it as a holiday let in 2020.
It’s an amazing house, in a fantastic location. We were sad to leave it (our eldest still wishes we lived there now) but glad we have kept it, to host others, who we hope can enjoy it as much as we did!!!!
