About this property
Oceanview Cottage on Cabot Trail - Main Level
This gorgeous cottage with a huge deck overlooking St.Anne's Bay is nestled among a network of trails through the forest and down to the waterfront.
You will have private access to the main level of the cottage, including the attached decks, bbq, and personal firepit. Cabot Cottages has 5 units in total so there will be up to 8 additional people on this beautiful 4-acre property - 2 in each of the three cabins and our on-site property managers stay in the walkout basement this cottage.
The whole property is essentially on a very steep hill. Parking is near the top, followed by the cabins, the main cottage, and then the waterfront is a few minutes further down. Unless you have 4-wheel drive it's advisable you park at the top and carry your things down to the cottage. The paths are not suitable for people with mobility issues and potentially seniors.
There is a path down to a look off, where you can enjoy incredible views of the sunset overlooking the bay. Be prepared to get that heart rate up on the walk back to the cottage! From the look-off there is a narrow rocky trail that brings you right down to the water with two kayaks. Guests can paddle at their own risk but it is only advisable when the water is calm which is usually early in the morning.
Send us a msg if you're interested in renting the additional cabins as well (10 people total).
