THE LOCATION
Nestled on the East End of the Island at Loggerhead Cay, this condo is just a short distance from the Causeway, making island access a breeze. As a Building 1 unit, it's only steps away from the beach.
THE BASICS
This condo is impeccably clean, bright, and airy, featuring charming Tommy Bahama island rattan decor that creates a serene, zen-like atmosphere with cozy, comfortable furnishings. It’s equipped with high-speed WiFi, cable TV, and three flat-screen TVs (in the living room and both bedrooms). The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom has two twin beds, and each bedroom includes a private en-suite bathroom. For added convenience, a full-sized washer/dryer is available within the unit, and all bed linens and bath towels are provided—no extra "linen fee" required. The kitchen features a breakfast bar, and there’s a great selection of puzzles and books (both hardback and paperback).
THE AMENITIES
Loggerhead Cay offers a heated swimming pool (just a short walk from our unit), brand-new tennis (1) and pickleball courts (2), shuffleboard courts, bike racks, and outdoor grills (two of which are conveniently located near our Building 1 unit).
THE EXTRAS
A unique feature of our unit is the glass-enclosed, screened-in lanai so if the weather turns too hot & muggy, or rainy, you can enjoy the gulf view comfortably in air conditioned space. In milder temperatures, just open the large sliding glass doors and enjoy the Gulf breeze. The lanai includes both a cozy seating area and a dining table for four. The condo is well equipped; particularly the kitchen, which has all the essentials and more. Guests are provided with a start-kit of toilet paper and paper towels and ample supplies of hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, clothes washing detergent and other cleaning supplies. Since people have personal preferences, please bring your own shampoo/conditioner. The beach gear closet is conveniently located on the first floor and is filled with beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys and a beach cart to make it easy to get your gear to the beach. It also includes pickleball & tennis rackets among other items.
VARIABLE CHECK-IN/OUT SCHEDULE
Unlike most Sanibel condos, you are not required to book a Saturday-Saturday stay. You can pick any day of the week to check-in as long as you book for at least 7 days (we ask that you avoid Sunday check-ins in order to give our Property Manager a break! ).
HURRICANE IAN
For those new to Sanibel, please be aware that the Island is recovering from the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Loggerhead Cay is one of the earliest complexes to recover from the storm. The photos of the interior of the condo are up-to-date as of January 2024. Some of the exterior photos are pre-Ian. At Loggerhead Cay, all construcation is complete. Restaurants and shops are reopening -- consult the Chamber of Commerce's website for the latest news. If you have questions, feel free to send me an inquiry before booking.
RENTER REQUIREMENTS
Minimum booking must be seven (7) days (this is imposed by a City of Sanibel ordinances and Loggerhead Cay Condominium Association bylaws)
Non-smokers only.
No pets (due to allergy reasons, no pets allowed).
Minimum age requirement to book the condo is 28.
Maximum occupancy is four (4) people -- no exceptions. The condo is not set up to handle more people.
Signed rental agreement and security deposit required.
Please note cancellation policy and consider purchasing travel insurance if you have any concern.
