Welcome to the Hummingbird Suite, our lower-level walkout apartment on a beautiful, quiet street in Lake Junaluska. With a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable and spacious living room, and a private yard with two patios, our guests tell us they feel right at home here. Convenient parking for 2 cars just steps from the entrance makes loading and unloading a breeze. Please note-there are a couple of spaces with low ceilings, so probably not a good choice for those over 6'4".

Hi, we're Reg and Mary Ann. Married over four decades, we've enjoyed many trips to the Smokies over the years, and retired in Lake Junaluska in 2018. We enjoy hosting guests in our downstairs apartment three seasons of the year. You probably won't see us or even hear us but we are available by text or phone in case you need anything.

Why they chose this property

Lake Junaluska is a serene, beautiful area yet there's lots of fun things to do, including swimming in the pool, kayaking, walking the Rose Walk loop, tennis, pickle ball, and more. We're a ten-minute beautiful walk to the lake, 3 miles from historic downtown Waynesville and 45 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

What makes this property unique

The apartment, at close to 1,000 square feet is very spacious, and the location is very convenient. The living room has a large tv with lots of apps, and we also have many classic movies to play on the DVD player. Also lots of fun stuff for the kids to do-games, art supplies, books and more. The full kitchen makes meal prep simple. It's a great spot to come back to after a day of exploring all that this beautiful part of the country has to offer.
