The Jetsons Sunset Penthouse in downtown Honolulu is sleek and stylish 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat combines the best of midcentury modern charm with cutting-edge technology, perfect for urban dwellers and digital nomads looking for a taste of the future in the heart of the city. Dual masters, wraparound lanai for watching fireworks or shenanigans from your private perch above the City. Uniquely Honolulu. Blocks to dining, shopping and the beach!
Over 900 square feet of living space, this unique pie-shaped penthouse is the equivalent of 3 studio apartments sharing a sweeping wraparound lanai with the iconic "old Hawaii" vibes of its early days as a swanky urban hotel right in the thick of things. That essentially means the master bedrooms are each self contained 1 bedroom units each with its own ensuite bathroom completely updated. Nearly 400 sq ft of indoor/outdoor open lanai makes this unit feel spacious and breezy.
Each master bedroom boasts its own unique view and is separated for privacy by the unique and open living space with full, easy access chef's kitchen.
Kitchen is complete with full size bespoke refrigerator, electric stove with built in airfryer. A fully equipped coffee station hides unique drawer style dishwashers that can be used independently or together for larger loads.
Outdoor dining is fuss free with a sturdy weatherproof picnic table for sunset cocktails or serene coffee sunrises. You choose. Or don't... why choose when you can do both?
Brand new triple zone split minis allows for each space to be independently operated. Each bedroom and the living room has its own remote control so you and your guests can customize your space to your heart's content. Keep in mind, we have wonderful trade winds so if you choose, the breeze blows wonderfully at night and the vintage jalousy windows work well. Up to you.
Floor to ceiling motorized blackout curtains with remote controls in every room.
Also worth noting as its sometimes helpful, each master has its own private entrance with smartlock entries and floor to ceiling patio sliders for accessing the lanais. Uniquely private for such a large shared unit.

Why they chose this property
This is an iconic classic Hawaiian resort area that is tucked one street behind Waikiki's main drag. This particular condo building was an original condo hotel in Waikiki's early days but is in walking distance to all of the same resorts, shopping, restaurants that are more well known, one street over. That means that you get to enjoy the urban lifestyle of walking everywhere, including to the beach, if you want or just hunkering down and watching sunsets directly from your lanai. But without the heavy traffic of Kalakaua. Yes, we chose it for its spectacular 180 degree views that show off the ocean, gorgeous sunsets, ominous rainclouds drifting in over the mountains and ridges every evening or the city lights which are stunning in their own right. Its a unique space and was the original developer's own penthouse, never on the market until we fell in love with it and made it our own. My husband is responsible for every renovation and loving detail you see and I take great pride in sharing his love for this space with you. We think it is a real treasure and stay here every chance we get!
What makes this property unique
Everything about this property is unique. From the round solid concrete block building, to the wraparound connected lanais, to the open floorplan shaped like pie pieces to our unique and functional kitchen. Just about every detail in this unit was planned with function and form in mind. If you aren't comfortable here, then the Ritz Carlton is just next door. Yes, the Ritz is our neighbor. If you also need parking without the price tag, you will especially appreciate this condo. Most resort parking is over $65/night which is just outrageous but we are lucky to have a dedicated parking spot included with the condo. Street parking is also usually available which is unheard of in Waikiki. If you want something swanky, private and cozy, then come on home. We'll keep the light on.
