About this property
Charming 2-bedroom condo in delightful Sugar Mountain with WiFi, fitness room
Looking for a fun getaway to escape the heat in the summer and enjoy snowfall in the winter? This is it! Experience top-of-the-mountain living in this two bedroom, two bathroom condominium with high 10 foot ceilings. The balcony offers picturesque, long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Sugar Mountain ski trails. Peacefully watch the amazing sunsets unfold layer by layer of breathtaking colors on the balcony. And, talk about being festive and patriotic, July 4th fireworks are right in front of the balcony. Looking to relax? If you’re like me, there’s nothing better after a day of hiking, skiing, shopping than to kick your feet up on a recliner. It provides significant benefits to your body by improving blood circulation, and this condo boasts not one, but four recliners for your comfort! Sugar Top is a gated resort that offers a 24/7 front desk host, security and a guard at the gate.
This condo is also available for short or long term weekly/monthly stays.
I like to keep my condo attractive and clean for all my guests. You will be responsible for any incidental fees and damage to the rental property caused by you or your guests during your stay.

The space
The master bedroom features a queen sized bed and the guest bedroom has two full sized bunk beds. There are lots of board games in the guest bedroom. The baseboard/central heat and ceiling fans in each bedroom and family room ensure you’ll be comfortable no matter what time of year you visit.
Enjoy watching your favorite shows and movies from bed on one of our three Smart TVs … feel free to log in to any of the apps you have at home (guests must provide their login information). The desk has a charging station with an assortment of charging cables. The drawer below the family room television has plenty of books to choose from. Feel free to keep the book if you have not finished reading it by the end of your stay.
We provide a Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, coffee pods, sugar, creamer, and hot chocolate. We also have a teapot. There is a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, trash bags, salt/pepper shakers, and blow dryers in each bathroom.

You may ask at the front desk if there is available parking in the owners lot (sometimes there is during slower times). To request the shuttle you can call the front desk at (828) 898-5226 or from the landline in the kitchen dial 0. Please return the key(s) when checking out at 11 am. Amenities
Sugar Top is a gated resort that offers a 24/7 front desk host, security and a guard at the gate. Also, an indoor heated pool, two indoor hot tubs, wet/dry sauna, and gym with locker rooms and showers, quiet reading area, large outdoor sunset deck, snack and drink machines, picnic area with iron grills, and wheelchair accessibility. There is also a concession stand in the lobby.
Other things to note
For all skiers, there is a place to keep your skis and ski boots, and they are not allowed in condos per homeowner’s rules. Ask the front desk for the storage location. In snowy seasons you WILL need snow tires or chains, and an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicles. The weather on Sugar Mountain can change in an instant, and we may not be able to accommodate adding extra days to your stay in inclement weather. Please ensure your vehicle is equipped properly for mountain driving. Winter weather can occur here from November to April.
In warmer seasons please watch carefully for wildlife while driving. There are foxes, deer and lots of fawns in late spring/early summer. We do get heavy fog that will usually lift when the sun comes out. Due to the mile-high elevation, Sugar Top has no air conditioning. There are three ceiling fans, one in each bedroom and one in the family room. July temps average 55-70 degrees.
There is a laundry room just a few steps to the left when exiting the condo. It is approximately $4-$6 per load. There is a coin machine and laundry supplies in the lobby at the concession stand.
