'Truly a Treasure'
Our Treasure Island property is located on the 2nd floor and features one of the best beach and ocean views in the building. Watch the awesome Florida sunset right from the balcony of the unit! You are just steps away from sunset beach, one of the most beautiful places to enjoy the view and sunsets. Harbor house north is located on a quiet two lane road that has pedestrian crosswalks to access the beach. Our guests have access to the beach-side heated pool located just across the street. The unit is located on the north end of the building with easy access to the laundry room, common grill area and outdoor shower, just at the bottom of the steps. The main bedroom features a queen sized bed and the living room houses a queen sleeper sofa. The dining room table accommodates four when expanded, with plenty of room for access to the kitchen. The remodeled kitchen features full-size appliances: range, microwave, dishwasher and a new refrigerator.
Want something different from the beach? Treasure island has a lot more activities to offer! John’s pass is just a few miles away with lots of shopping, restaurants, water sports, fishing and more! There are also local theaters, recreation centers, antique shops and golf courses. St. Petersburg is only a few miles away with many more options for entertainment. One of our favorite things to do is walk down to “Caddy’s on the beach” which is less than a half mile up the beach. This is a great beach-side restaurant with live music, cocktails, sunset views, and good food. If you run out of coffee, need sunscreen, ice, or anything else (Slurpee!), 7-eleven is also less than a half mile up the road and is wonderful for those forgotten or needed items. There is also a local grocery store less than a mile up the beach on gulf blvd.
Located in sunset beach is the sunset beach scenic boardwalk at the south end of treasure island. Appropriately named, it is a peaceful and picturesque walkway around the island's tip. The sunset beach scenic boardwalk starts in the south end of the tern parking lot, which is connected to the treasure island pavilion (site of many beach weddings.) you can get to the boardwalk from the unit by walking along the beach to the south end of the island. It is a 6/10th's of a mile stroll from the gulf side, across blind pass, and turns north along the inter-coastal waterway. The boardwalk circumnavigates a huge condo complex and ends close to the intersection of 77th avenue and bay shore drive. You can continue to walk through the million dollar neighborhood behind harbor house to get back to the unit. It’s a great way to keep moving while on vacation!
