I've stay at Solitude several times over the last dozen years. Location is awesome, access to the mountain can't be beat. This unit was very comfortable. The host, Gene, is very responsive to any questions or issues that may arise.
I would be remiss to future guests for not pointing out some disappointments with Solitude Mountain Resorts Village, and Ski Corporation. These are only my impressions, and may, or may not be important to you as a future guest.
First, several facilities are closed Monday through Wednesday. St. Bernards, closed. Spa closed, no massages or treatments available, Silver Fork reasturant, closed. That is an awesome place if open for your trip.
The worst detractor for me was the ski corporation practices. My first day conditions were icy, and bare. That night it snowed 10 inches. Solitude Mountain Resort raised their ticket price $15 the next day to "gouge" their customers. They are opportunists and don't care about their guests! Left a bad taste in my mouth. Sad, but I won't go back.
In closing, unit great, manager great, Solitude, well below standards for the money you will spend.
