About this property
The Bluebird- A Cute, Cozy Tiny House, 5 mins to Downtown Asheville
We want you to love visiting West Asheville as much as we love living here! Our tiny house is ideal for duos and solo travelers in search of a uniquely Asheville experience. It is a private, cozy space nestled into the neighborhoods of west Asheville.
• Newly constructed in 2020
• Walkable to Haywood Road (coffee shops, restaurants, breweries)
• Short drive (under 5 min) to River Arts District and Downtown AVL
• Close to hiking and all Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer
• Quiet, friendly neighborhood.
• Private but central to the places you want to be!
We've been hosting on the other site for 4 years, with over 450 reviews, and a 4.96 superhost rating.
The Space
We built our tiny home in 2019-2020, and we are proud of the many, sunlit windows, handmade ceramic sink, spiral staircase and comfortable cozy atmosphere. The high cathedral ceilings make it feel less tiny than you might expect for a space this size.
The tiny home has its own little deck, patio and lawn space that is private and for guests. There is a queen size bed, WiFi, AC, and heating, coffee and tea station, microwave, hot plate and dishes. There is non-designated street parking available.
The tiny house can sleep 3, but we recommend one or two people for the most comfortable experience.

About the host
Hosted by Matt Townsend

Hi! We are Matt and Lea, a married couple with two little kids and two dogs, who we love exploring the mountains with, making music and art, running and biking through our beautiful city.
Why they chose this property
We love living in this quiet, friendly neighborhood which is right in the midst of West Asheville, a 5 minute drive to downtown, and a short walk to the French Broad River.
The neighborhood is just off the beaten path which maintains its peaceful, quiet quality. Plenty of dogs and gardens throughout the neighborhood make it a joy to walk through on a daily basis.
We are walking distance to dozens of restaurants, bars, breweries and shops, but just outside the busy sections of town.

What makes this property unique
The feeling of peace and privacy amidst the trees, while being a brief walk to nightlife and unique independent shops make this tiny house special. A beautiful view of the starry sky from the porch, or the cozy comfort of the living space in the tiny house make it a comfortable, peaceful space that we love to share.
The high ceilings and many windows make it seem less than tiny, with plenty of space to feel comfortable and at home.
