About this property
Beautiful Apartment on Munjoy Hill
City of Portland License Number: STHR-006186-2024
Stay at our stylish 3rd-floor apartment on the east end, a retreat in the middle of an urban neighborhood. Relax in the tub, on the couch, or soak in the sun from the back porch before you explore the exciting city with all the best bars and restaurants.
Please read the detailed description before booking! We had to move our listing off of another site due to our values not aligning and onto VRBO. You will not see reviews, but we have been hosting for over 12 years. We will post pictures of our reviews so you know travelers from all over the world have loved our place!
This is our only residence; we rent it out when we travel, so we live here. There is one air-conditioning unit in the living room, but the rest of the place is cooled only by fans. Please keep that in mind when booking.
Stay in Portland's most exciting neighborhood! This apartment is on the third floor of a triple-decker. The flat is spacious and has beautiful light. Built in the early 1900s but with all the modern necessities. Ocean views from many of the windows and just blocks away from Portland's famous Eastern Promenade. The flat is well equipped with linens, a stocked kitchen, and charm!
A charming local grocery store is just a three-minute walk away, along with an array of delightful shops and cozy cafés. Just three blocks down, the Promenade invites you to enjoy food trucks, a game of tennis or pickleball, or simply soak up the sun on the hillside. The vibrant Old Port is within walking distance, though a bus is available if you prefer.
On Saturdays, don’t miss the farmers’ market at Deering Oaks—a true local gem! Our home is just minutes from the bus line, making it easy to explore the city. If you're visiting for the Fourth of July, you're in for a treat—the fireworks are breathtaking and can be enjoyed right outside the front door.
For an unforgettable adventure, Casco Bay Lines is just a 20-minute walk away, ready to whisk you off to explore the beautiful islands of the bay.
Expect to have a fantastic stay in this friendly neighborhood, with easy access to all the charm and history this wonderful city has to offer!
Guests can park in our driveway. Guests enter through the front door.
Welcome to our home! We truly love this space and hope you do too. Please note that our home includes a resident dog, so if you have allergies, this may not be the best rental for you. The other two apartments are occupied by family and close friends, and we kindly ask that you be respectful of them. This is a peaceful and quiet home, and we appreciate your help in maintaining that atmosphere. Thank you!
