Feels like home❣️
The house was nicely decorated and had so many windows and a skylight that really made it feel like you were in the trees. It was the most well stocked home I've ever stayed at. From kitchen items like coffee, half and half, quail and chickens eggs, butter, apples, chocolate, sodas, crackers and chips, condiments and spices, to bathroom items like shampoo and conditioner, soap, lotion, and shower bombs. There were games and books as well. It really feels like a family home that you escape to on the weekends and then hate to leave! I hope to come again in the summer when I can experience all the Delaware has to offer, from the comfort of this unique house. Pat was a pleasure to communicate with!

Adorable house
House is charming and spotless. The kitchen is small but workable with a little effort. The driveway, however, is a challenge so I learned to park my car on the side of the road. Area is entirely delightful with many good restaurants, hikes, etc. Pat is a brilliant host.

Lovely, relaxed stay
What a charming property! We could hear the river from the house. The whole house is shaded by trees, so even in late July, it was cool enough to sit out on the porch. We had no troubles, really, but when I did contact the owner, she was responsive. There are a couple of things to know in advance: Getting into the driveway required a rather tight turn off of what is essentially a dirt road, so while our 4 wheel drive was useful, our double cab pickup truck was cumbersome to get in and out of the driveway. Regarding bedroom configuration, the main bedroom downstairs is very large, with a king bed. The second bedroom is very small, with a double bed. My also 60-year old college roommate and I took turns sleeping on the couch as we found we were keeping each other awake in the small bed and room. There was a bathroom for each bedroom, however. Still, the home was a very good option. We truly enjoyed our time there.

Surprisingly delightful, unique and wonderfully furnished
This was one of those experiences where each thing we discovered was more delightful than we expected. The deck in the tree tops, the generous furnishings the small touches welcoming us and the well stocked kitchen with spices and cooking oils was one of the helpful things that we don't often find. The half and half and local eggs just brought smiles to our faces. As for the house itself, it was comfortable and creatively furnished in thoughtful ways. The deck was fantastic in the treetops and we enjoyed breakfast there while we watched the rain one morning. We could take our bikes directly to the Delaware bike trail and ride up to Frenchtown or down to New Hope along a beautiful trail with views of the river, beautiful homes and interestng pieces of history. One bedroom on the main floor was very nice and the master suite and bathroom suite downstairs was fantastic. Folks who have mobility issues may find the circular stair challenging but we found that part of the house a delightful bonus. The only other heads up would be the initial navigation of the driveway backing in. It is steep but navigable. After we did it once or twice we became much more comfortable with the challenge. I give this place kudos across the board along with the responsive hosts. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This place is beautiful. The pictures does not do justice. I have to say I and my son ( Adult Autism) had a wonder time. Very spacious. I loved it and plan to rent the house again.

Wonderful, lush, restful stay
Fantastic little tucked away cabin with all the amenities of a home and none of the hotel hassles. Plenty of room for two couples to visit, play cards, and break bread. The location was perfect for walks. Really good restaurants were only a short drive away.

Such a Magical Place
This place was just perfect for us; we stayed for five nights. Our daughter was being married just one mile away, and it was ideal for pre and post wedding activities. The house is spacious, so there was plenty of room for bridesmaids to help her get ready in the big downstairs area. Beds are very comfortable, and the downstairs king is especially suited for a couple. The kitchen is well appointed. The deck is magical. We had a couple of dinners out there on warm September nights, enthralled by the cicadas and frogs. The house really is like being in a tree house, surrounded by big oaks, maples, and a wide variety of birds. The tow path is right across the road, so we enjoyed numerous long walks there, plus the walk up the road alongside the nearby creek is also beautiful. Plenty of ways to get our exercise in, which was greatly appreciated. Cute and comfortable all the way around. I was unfamiliar with this area of Pennsylvania, and we based this location on the proximity to the wedding site. Next time, however, I think we will try to be a little closer to the action, with New Hope probably being my choice. If you are eager to see art galleries and hear good music, this Treetop house is a bit of a drive along very narrow country roads in order to be in that scene. Really a beautiful spot -- I highly recommend this beautiful house!

Cozy & Wonderful!
We had an excellent time enjoying the house!!! It rained a lot when we were there, but we didn't mind since the living room area was cozy and so comfortable to just sit and read a book. When it was nice outside, we ventured down the canal path which was amazing. We will definitely be coming back!!!!!

Great Place- Great Location- In the Woods
Loved this place - a great deck where you can hear the rushing water from the nearby river - and accommodate friends and family. Great light show at night - you'll be surprised - so hopefully no one gives it away! Excellent accommodations with kayaks, life vests everything you could possibly imagine - two draw backs - the backing in up the driveway is a little dicey - take your time and follow the fence - getting luggage to the first floor - you have to use a spiral staircase or take the outside path down to the first floor entrance. We're in our sixties so no problem but any older and it might have been troubling. But if you want that elevation in the tree tops those are the only drawbacks - great little kitchen - the owner has everything you can imagine - super layout - comfy furniture - ample hanging out room - plenty of doors to swing open and enjoy the breeze. Open the windows on the first floor and enjoy nature as you fall off to sleep. Really an outstanding fun location - when headed back to the area we will definitely consider it again!

Fun Nature Hideaway
What a beautiful, well-maintained cabin in the mountains. Great location being in the mountains near springs and the river. My husband and I were very comfortable here and could easily have had another couple stay. You are in the middle of great towns in both PA and NJ. I can't wait to stay again.

Beautiful home surrounded by trees, filled with natural light.
This is my second stay at this wonderful property. First in the summer, and this time in the winter. Magical both times. All the comforts of home. My favorite features are the large front porch, with porch swing that overlooks a wooded creek. Love the location across the street from the river and canal path. Owner is lovely and responsive. Can't wait to go back.

Quaint treetop house in Bucks County
The treetop house was even more charming than the pictures and was furnished with every means of comfort. The location was excellent-- sitting right on the river bank-- and all the major attractions of the region were easily accessible. Backing up into the driveway (especially in inclement weather conditions) took a bit of finesse, but we got the hang of it quickly enough. We would definitely recommend this property to other travelers!

Wonderful stay in this cozy hideaway
My sisters and I drove our parents out for my mom's 54 class reunion from nursing school (St. Vincent's, New York City). My parents stayed in New Hope, and my sisters and I stayed at this cozy cottage in Pippersville. We had a wonderful stay with all the amenities we would need. The drive to the cottage and our destinations each day were scenic and beautiful, and tucked away along the Delaware River. Some of the roads were tight, but adventurous for these girls from Indiana. We had an amazing time, and an overall fabulous stay at this hideaway. Thanks so much Pat for your hospitality and beautiful cottage on the hill. Wonderful Stay! Wonderful Place!
My husband and I just got back from almost a week at Pat's house. We had everything we needed and more. I had such a hard time finding a place in this area. Treetop Hideaway is minutes to everything we wanted to do, is spacious and the KING bed.... so comfortable. Having grown up in Pipersville it was a special treat to revisit all the places I love. Thank you so much for providing such a great house at an affordable price. All the best to you and Dave!

This place is truly amazing especially in the summer and at night. We loved it.
Backing up the driveway is fairly easy and then you walk in to a wonderful space. The room is surrounded by trees and birds are singing. In the evening you can hear Katydids like an orchestra and as the day begins and heats up, the locusts are are heard amidst the birds. The place is a little close to the River road but it never disturbed us and the road is not busy enough at night to generate any noise. The kitchen is fully equipped and sitting out on the patio with a glass of wine at twilight was delightful. In the downstairs bedroom, also completely surrounded by trees on three sides, was plenty comfortable and a welcomed place to sleep and wake up. If love charm, this place overflows with it!

A wonderful week in the woods!
The most charming and lovely house around! It was a lot of fun to have a week there. Pat Del Finis supplies everything you could think of needing or wanting. We planned a lot of day trips around the area, and while I’ll admit I got tired of the driving distances, I always looked forward to returning to Tree Tops.
