About this property
Forest Park Hideaway | Nature Oasis Near City
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A cross between a cabin & a treehouse, this hidden oasis is just outside the city located in one of the largest urban parks in the country. Explore the wooded area, and nature trails right outside the front door. Disconnect from the world or work from the woods while trying not to be distracted by the incredible views. With all of the modern conveniences you'll have the best of both worlds. The city seems far but is only minutes away.
Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright, entirely rustic wooden interior and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the rustic space. Relax and lounge on the plush sofa and curl up with a good book by the gas fireplace, or play a tune on the piano or cello for entertainment. Enjoy the 100" screen to stream your favorite shows for a fun night in. Prepare meals and on-the-go hiking snacks in the kitchen, equipped with plenty of cupboard room and state-of-the-art appliances. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, with ample space for personal effects. At the end of the day, sit on the deck and marvel at the beauty of nature as you witness a spectacular Oregon sunset, followed by the stars coming out to dot the sky. This unique rustic home in the woods has everything you need for a relaxing escape.
The entire house is available to use and not shared with others. The loft is not accessible at this time.
You can reach out any time during your stay. If something isn't right or missing please let us know so we can take care of it right away.
The property consists of one visible neighbor as you pass up the driveway and the rest is a picturesque hillside of deep green forest and beauty. A hikers dream location, bird lovers paradise, and wanderlust opportunity for anyone. Although only 10 minutes from the city it is truly a country escape.
At 5,200 acres, Portland's Forest Park is one of the largest urban forests in the United States. With more than 80 miles of trails, fire lanes and forest roads, Forest Park stretches for more than seven miles along the eastern slope of the Tualatin Mountains, overlooking Northwest Portland and the convergence of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. Forest Park offers an unparalleled opportunity for visitors to experience a true Northwest forest without leaving the Portland city limits.
